I Can't Stop Me (8)

Melvins POV

"So what did you want to talk to me about?" Daniel asked me.
"Right, well it was...umm... Daniel. I..."
I took a deep breathe in, I really didn't want to tell him, for fear of rejection, but I can't stop me I just had to tell him.
"IthinkIlikeyou" I spat out fast.
"What?" Was all Daniel responded, wide-eyed.
"I think that I like you." I said slower this time. "Like like you.."
He started at me for a little while before finally speaking.
"Wow, uhm..." He started. "I...I don't know what to say. Melvin... I'm.. I'm sorry. I don't think I like you the way you like me."
I silently started at the ground for a little while not knowing what to say, he just told me that he doesn't like me back, how do I respond to that?
"O-oh.. Okay, sorry, I'm gonna go now." I told him and rushed out of the room, back into mine and Reginas room, I didn't realize that when I entered our room, Regina would be in there.
"Hey, Mel- Woah! Are you okay?" Regina asks me worriedly.
"H-huh?" I sniffle. "Oh, I didn't k-know you w-were in here." Suddenly I couldn't hold it in any longer and just broke down in tears. "He rejected me, Regina! He.. He said he di-didnt like m-me and I... I didn't know what to say so I just left!"
"Aww, I'm so sorry to hear the Mel." Regina says and pulls me into a hug.

Daniels POV
Time: 9:08am

I feel bad about telling Melvin that I didn't like him yesterday, obviously I couldn't lie to him and say that I did like him but I still feel bad. Anyways, I got up and walked towards the kitchen to get some breakfast, Chad was already up as he usually is around this time, but no sign of the others.
"Mornin', Chad." I tell him sleepily.
"Good morning," He responds to me, "it's raining today, so we probably won't be filming outside."
"Really? Raining here in L.A? Weird, but okay." I said, pouring myself some cereal, then I opened out my laptop on my desk and was going to watch some Netflix and edit my new video, there was a new John Mulaney stand up special that I wanted to check out. We took a break and did some shorts instead because they were eaiser to make, but I'm glad that we're back to uploading full length videos now.
As soon as I opened chrome, I heard a door open, I turned around, expecting to see Vy or Regina, but I ended up seeing Melvin instead. We immediately made eye contact and he quickly turned around and went back into the room, Chad noticed this and asked me what that was about.
"What was that about?" He asked.
"Oh, I dunno." I lied.

10am

It was about 10am right now, and I just finished editing the video, it was only a 16 minute long video so it didn't take that long to edit, I usually edit the shorter videos because I like filming better, and I have another channel I need to upload on. At this time Vy and Regina were already up, I also noticed that Melvin hadn't came out of his room yet, oh well, he might be sleeping.
"Hey Regina." I go up to her. "Is Melvin still sleeping?"
"Hm? Oh, no he went out for a walk s little while ago I think." She responded.
"Oh, I must've not seen him." I slightly chuckle.
"Mhm." She said, sounding annoyed.
"Is something wrong?" I ask, she looks at me, then Chad and Vy, then back at me and speaks to me.

"We need to talk."
