Daniels POV
"Hey, Melvin can I talk to you for a second?" I ask him.
"Oh, sure." He responds nervously, and him and I walk to the Gizmo lab, just before we enter, I stopped, still holding onto the door handle.
Wait...
It all made sense now..
I... 
"Melvin." I quickly spin around, facing him.
"I... I think I was wrong."
"Hm? What do you mean?" He asks, confused.
"I think that I.. Do like you." I say, not looking up at him, I can feel his eyes just star in at me, as if they're lasers burning through my face, it was intense.
"W-wait. You do?" He stutters.
"Yeah, I was just thinking about what you said, and I don't even know what I was thinking when I rejected you, hah.." I say finally looking up at him.
"Oh okay." He smiles shyly.
"Um, so.. I don't actually think I need to talk to you anymore," I say, "but while we are talking, do you maybe wanna have dinner some time?"
"Really? Sure!" He smiles brightly. "Is tomorrow good?"
"Yeah sure, I'll text you when." I say and we both walk back into the kitchen, I could not believe what I just said, I just realized that I did like him, it took a while and a pinch of drastically over thinking it, to convince myself that it was him who I liked. I liked Regina for so long, but I think it was just because she was so similar to Melvin, the way they talk and joke around are so amazing, and when I asked him out, he said yes!! I'm so excited, I can't wait for tomorrow!

The next day
6:00pm
Daniels POV

I was crazy nervous, I was about to go out with someone, which I haven't done before, oh geez, I don't know if I'm ready for this. I was busy getting ready, tieing my tie, straightening my shirt out, still wondering which restaurant we should go to, I was thinking Olive Garden, sure, not the ideal first day, but it'll do, I hope at least Some of this goes right today.
I walk over to the kitchen, hoping only Melvin would be in there like he usually is, he usually just sits at the counter on his laptop, when I walked out of my room, I saw him, but I also saw Vy, oh no.
I just froze there, and Vy noticed me.
"Ooh, hey Mr. FancyPants, what's the occasion?" She teases.
"H-huh? Oh yeah, just uhh... Nothing, just wanted to dress in a suit and tie because I felt like it." I say while walking closer to them, Melvin looked at me and I saw him blush.
Vy started at me for a couple of seconds, not convinced by my lie.
"What ever you say..." She says, smirking and taking a sip of her tea.
"Daniel and I are going out!" Melvin blurts out.
Vy slightly chokes on her drink. "Wait, what?"
"Melvin! Yeah, we are, there's no special occasion." I sigh.
"Well, yeah I kind of already assumed that." Vy says, "Well, enjoy your date~~"
"Really? You don't care we're going out?" Melvin asks her.
"Uh, I dunno, why?"
"Well, you always seemed like the #1 Raniel shipper."
"Oh, well yeah I was, but now that I'm thinking about it..." She stares at Melvin and I for a while. "You two are kind of cute together, also you should get out of here quickly, Regina is sleeping, so try not to wake her."
"Alright, thanks." Melvin says.

7:10pm

I feel like everyone is staring at us, we're just two kinda hot guys wearing suits in a casual, greasy restaurant, anyways Melvin and I got seated, the wait was surprisingly only half an hour.
"Soo.." I say, trying to think of a conversation starter. "How is your day?"
"Heh, pretty good so far, how about you?" He says.
"Same." I smile.

8:00pm (I'm sorry idk how to write about people being at restaurants lmao.)

Melvin and I were just about home, our dinner was fantastic, Melvin and I both ordered linguine and talked about so many different things, I could barley even pay attention though,sometimes I would just catch myself staring at his handsome face. When we pulled into the drive way of the safe house, we just stared at each other for a little bit.
"So, should we go i-" I started to say, but then was interrupted by Melvin kissing me on my lips. I sat there frozen for a couple of seconds, but then kissed him back, we did that for about 15 seconds, then since all good things eventually have to end, we pulled away and jdut glanced at each other time to time.
"So we should probably go inside now, hah." I say breaking the silence.
"Oh, yeah." Melvin responds to me and we step out of the car.
As we enter the safe house, we see Chad, Vy, and Regina all standing there, looking at us.
"What?" I say.
"I'm sorry, I had to tell them!" Vy confesses.
"Vyyy!!" Melvin and I say, slightly angrily, but hey, now neither of us have to say it.
"So, my brother and my most trusted colleague." Regina says, walking towards us slowly, I was scared of what she was going to say next, if she was going to be mad, sad, or both.
"When's the wedding?" She smirks.
"Oh, calm down, Regina." Melvin fake punches her shoulder, chuckling.

11pm

Melvin and I were sitting and chatting in the Gizmo Lab, still wearing our suits, when we decided that we should probably get some sleep, I just recently added a small pull out bed into my room, since it's small, we both just laid there talking a little.
"Hey Melvin, what do you think is going to happen in the future?" I ask him, but receive no response.
"Melvin?" I look over to him to see him laying on my shoulder, fast asleep. I smile and adjust myself to where I'm laying on his head, and just before I fall asleep, I think of how lucky I am to be with someone so amazing.

This took so long to write omg lol, anyways I hope you liked this it took forever to write the last 3-4 chapters, Raniel (Regina x Daniel) will be next. (: ✨💖
