what about her?
seen 7:40am

eunji stands by her locker, trying to sort her books out in her arms. double checking against her schedule for the day and the books she had in her arms, she made sure she didn't miss out on any materials she needed for her classes.

she then slammed her locker door shut and shrieked at the unexpected company. "good morning, alligator.", jeno greeted as he smirked at the girl's reaction. eunji rolled her eyes, slightly annoyed at his little prank, walking away from him. he runs up to her, "hey, i'm just kidding around. i didn't mean to scare you like that.". eunji shot him a glare. clearly, he wasn't completely sorry since he was still giggling as he explained himself.

she stopped in her tracks and looked up at him, "go away.". "what?", jeno questioned. "i said go away.", eunji repeated and continued making her way to class. he caught up with her again, "but why?". she halts, once again, and looked him dead in the eye, "cause you're being annoying.". with that she walks away again, "don't follow me.".

jeno watched as her figure became smaller and smaller. he smirked to himself, amused. this is gonna be harder than he thought.

eunji was the only one left at the store, stocking up the frozen foods section. just then, the bell rang, signalling a customer has entered the store. eunji walks towards the door, "sorry, we're closed for the night.". "that's okay.", the voice called back. she stopped in her tracks, recognising the familiar voice. she turns the corner and sees jeno standing by the door, flashing his signature smile while his eyes turned into crescent moons.

she rolls her eyes, "go home, jeno.". with that, she walks back to the frozen foods section, continuing her action of restocking the shelves. "i would, but i need a ride home and my phone died so i can't text my friends to pick me up.", jeno explained, his voice getting louder as he walks closer to the her. he stops right by her. "so?", she replies nonchalantly, not caring about his mode of transport.

jeno cleared his throat, "can i use your phone to text my friends? it'll be quick, i promise.". eunji stays quiet, weighing the options in her head. should she be kind to him and let him use her phone, or should she let him freeze in the cold, winter night? knowing she won't be able to sleep at night if she left him out on the streets, she reluctantly reached into her pocket and fished out her phone. he grinned at her. as he tapped away on the screen, eunji carried the empty box and brought it back to the recycling bin.

she walks back into the store and locks the back door. she then proceeds to take off her apron and hung it behind the storage room door. she made her way back to the counter and cleaned the counter top, mentally checking to make sure she has fulfilled everything she's tasked to do before leaving the store.

"thank you.", jeno said.
"it's fine. now get out, i need to close up the store."
