The two men worked in a comfortable silence, handing pamphlets out to each table and putting up the decorations for fall. Pretty red and orange leaves, little pumpkins and tiny stuffed scarecrows. Jimin had begun humming quietly to himself as he worked and Jungkook listened to him absentmindedly. His voice was so pretty even when speaking, so it wasn't a surprise that his humming would be a melody sent down by god.
"Alright! Everything looks good in here. Thank you so much for your help Jungkookie!" Jimin said sweetly. Finally, the reality of the situation hit Jungkook like a ton of bricks. They where finished setting up.. so they would both be going home now. He pouted slightly. He loved hanging out with Jimin and being around him. He felt calm that way.. cared for.. important. He didn't want to go home to his spiteful parents.
"What's the matter..?" Jimin asked, noticing the sad look on the latter's face. He walked towards him, gently holding his much larger hands. "I just.. I was having fun and.. I don't wanna go home yet.." he admitted softly, looking up at the older male. Jimin smiled kindly, feeling a warmth in his own chest. "Aw.. Jungkook.. don't be sad! We'll see each other tomorrow okay?" He suggested, softly ruffling Jungkook's long locks.
Jungkook smiled at the familial exchange. He felt at home when he was with Jimin. Like he was where he was supposed to be. Jungkook had always believed in fate. That destiny exists and things happen for a reason. Somehow, in his heart, he'd begun to believe that Jimin was his destiny. He smiled at his own thoughts. There's no way.
"We better go.. the service starts pretty early in the morning which means the two of us need to wake up early.. we gotta get some sleep." Jimin said, grabbing his things. Jungkook followed, doing the same. "Text me to let me know you made it home safe, okay?" The blond suggested, his expression gentle and sweet. "Of course.. you too, Min." Jungkook replied.

Jungkook walked into the church fairly early. It was about 6:30 and the service would start in an hour. He knew that Jimin would already be there though. He was amazed at himself for his ability to even wake himself up that early but his brain allowed his eyes to open so he would be able to see Jimin.
He had a wide grin on his face. Nothing could ruin his day. He had never been so happy to go to church before but his crush was there so he was very excited. Even his mother berating him or his father smacking him for ignoring her didn't deter his happy smile. He was in too good a mood for it to be ruined by those nasty fun suckers.
"Jungkook, hey! Wow you're here really early. I'm impressed." Jimin said with a giggle. "Yeah yeah, I know I sleep in too much." Jungkook replied, rolling his eyes but still smiling. "Hey! I'm still your hyung you brat!" Jimin called out, smiling just as wide. "Sorry what was that? Couldn't hear anything." The taller male said, teasing the shorter yet older boy in front of him. "Ahhh what am I gonna do with you?" Jimin asked, feigning annoyance with a dramatic sigh.
How about kiss me?
"So since you're here so early and we set everything up last night all we have to do is wait for it to start with my father." He said, both men walking together to the front of the room where the alter was. "Ah, Jungkook! I'm glad to see you." Mr.Park said, smiling kindly. Jungkook liked Jimin's parents. They where really lovely people and treated everyone with the utmost respect.
"Hey, Mr.Park." He called, smiling back. "Today will be a good one!" Jimin said excitedly. "We're setting up the confession booth!" He said quickly. Jungkook froze a little. He was sure Jimin would want him to participate as well.. still. He would. It would be better to get some things off of his chest. Have some guidance even if he thinks it's bullshit. "That's right! Jimin will be in one of the booths as well." Mr.Park said.
"Yeah! It'll be my first time in the booth as the listener.. I'm so excited!" He called, bouncing on the balls of his feet happily. Jungkook smiled on the outside but on the inside he was frowning deeply. If he didn't do the confession Jimin would be disappointed.. but if he did it there would be a chance that Jimin would be listening to his most inner thoughts. He wasn't sure about what to do with the situation.
"You'll go in the booth as well right Jungkook?" Jimin asked, the smile on his face so sweet and beautiful. Jungkook felt his insides curl into knots. Looking at Jimin's kind and happy face made it impossible to say no to him. "Of course.." he said, mentally facepalming himself for actually agreeing. "I'm so glad! It will be fun don't worry. I always feel better after going into the booth. Getting things I feel guilty about off my chest." Jimin said softly.
"And now I get to help other people get those things off their chest. Help them allow god into their hearts so safe them from their grief." The blond said. He was infatuated with Jimin but when he talked about god like that it never failed to make him cringe. He knew that Jimin loved god and god was the most important thing in his life. It was just that sometimes the way he talked about it sounded disturbing, like brainwashing and it made Jungkook uncomfortable.
"Y-yeah it.. it'll be great.." he replied dejectedly, staring at the ground. He prayed to god to either go to Mr.Parks booth or have Jimin not know if Jimin has went to his. He prayed hard. Please. Please god. Don't ruin this for me.. just please don't.
