Backstory: Bio!dad Bruce. Marinette was sent to live with Bruce after the final battle, where HawkMoth targeted her parents, killing them. She was sent to her father, where she was welcomed with open arms by most of them. She is two years younger than Damian.

Marinette's POV:

Today is my first birthday at my fathers house. After Tom and Sabine died, I started closing myself in before shutting myself out completely. Once o arrived to my fathers, everyone has helped to uncover my natural, bubbly, kind, happy self.

Back in Paris, nobody ever celebrated my birthday. (Let's pretend Befana happened for a different reason). Not even my ex best friend, Alya. I've never experienced an actual birthday party made for me, and I don't expect to anytime soon. My brothers and sisters may be nice to me, but they probably don't even know it's my birthday, since I never told them.

I heard a knock on my door. I walked up to it and saw Alfred standing there. "Hello, Alfred." I said, plastering a smile on my face. I sure he noticed, but chose not to say anything. "Hello, Ms. Marinette. Your siblings have requested for you to come downstairs." I was confused. Why were they telling Alfred to tell me and not themselves? We're they mad at me? Was I in trouble?

Alfred must've noticed the worried look on my face and said, "Do not worry, they are not mad at you and you are not in trouble." I breathed out a small sigh of relief. "Ok Alfred. Thank you for telling me. I'll be down in a sec." I responded. He nodded before walking away.

I quickly got changed into some casual clothing, and brushed my hair. I left it down and went downstairs.

I walked over to the living room where Alfred told me they were, but it was dark. "Hello?" I said, seeing if someone would respond to me. I got no response, so I turned on the lights.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" I heard several shouts. I jumped really high and looked around to see birthday decorations everywhere. There was even a hand-made banner that read, 'Happy Birthday, Mari!" All of my siblings, new and old friends, and even my father were there.

I felt tears welling up in my eyes. Nobody has ever done this for me. My siblings quickly come to me as they saw tears in my eyes. "Mari what happened? Are you ok? Did we scare you too much?" They were all asking questions.

I threw myself at Damian, hugging him really tightly, seeing as he was the closest one to me. I kept repeating thank you, quietly sobbing into his shoulder.

After I calmed down, I thanked everyone with a hug and we all had a great time. I got lots of presents from everyone, but my favorite was from Jason, who got me a hamster. I nearly cried when I saw it, and I gave him a huge hug.

I had a great time, enjoying every moment. We were eating dinner after everyone had left, when I realized something.

"Um, how did you guys know it was my birthday?"

Everyone's head snapped up. "We kinda sorta searched up your information since you never told us." Dick said, with a sheepish grin. I playfully rolled my eyes, not even mad.

"Thank you."

Short and sweet.

Anyways, guess who's birthday it is!!! Yup, you guessed it. Mine!! This story was written during my boredom, since we really didn't do anything.

I got a couple gifts, which I'm really grateful for. I'm also grateful for everyone who had read my stories and voted for them! I'm not sure how constantly I'll update, but I have a couple of unfinished stories in progress.

See you guys in the next story, whenever that is! Bye!!

~Nancy
