When you have an ex-boyfriend/girlfriend, you move on from them. You get away from them because ex means ❌.

They are dangerous.

So what did Taehyung do when he and his ex bf saw each other for the first time in 4 years?

Taehyung let Jungkook take him to a cafe and talk.
Because why not?

They've already moved on, right? Taehyung sees this cafe thing as just friends who haven't seen each other in so long talking to each other.

It's not a date or anything. It's not like he or Jungkook has any feelings towards the other. Or so Taehyung thought.

They talked. Exchanged phone numbers. Exchanged home addresses if that isn't weird enough.

Taehyung only thought of it as Jungkook wanting to be best friends again. Because before they broke up, before they became a couple, they were best friends first.

Taehyung went home that night  feeling odd (And of course, Jungkook took him home to make sure Taehyung goes home safely or maybe he just wanted to make sure of where Taehyung lives, no one knows).

Taehyung has moved on and that's real.

But is he sure that Jungkook has moved on too?
Nope, he doesn't even know what Jungkook is thinking.
But Taehyung is definitely not going to assume anything because Jungkook was the reason they broke up after all. 

Jungkook cheated on him.

The next day, Jungkook went to Taehyung's house and offered to take him to work.

It's nothing else but a friendly gesture from Jungkook. There isn't any hidden motive

right?

1 week has passed and the past few day, Taehyung and Jungkook have been getting along really well.

Everyday, Jungkook takes Taehyung to work.
Jungkook messages Taehyung whenever Taehyung has break from work.
When Taehyung had free time, Jungkook occupied that time.
The past week, Taehyung's days were filled with Jungkook.
They cuddle, hug, hold hands, kiss each other's cheeks and foreheads, as friends, of course.

They never mentioned the past.

They were all good.

Until Jungkook had to ruin it.

Jungkook just had to confess his feelings to Taehyung.

"No" Taehyung replied firmly. He wasn't going to that relationship anymore.

"Why?" Jungkook asked with a pained voice and expression.

"I don't want to have a relationship with you again, Jungkook. My heart  got broken in that relationship, Jungkook. I'm not willing to take the risk again of going through that" Taehyung looked down, he's conflicted.

He doesn't know what to do.
Does he love Jungkook? Right now?
But even if he does? Is he willing to get his heart broken again just to be with Jungkook?

"Taehyung, just think about it. I'll be waiting" Jungkook said with a few tears falling from his eyes.

He went to get out of Taehyung's apartment.

When he got to the door, he looked at Taehyung one last time and they made eye contact, before he went out.

Jungkook did give time for Taehyung.
He gave taehyung space and time to think about it.

Taehyung has been thinking about it these past few days and he has made a decision.

He isn't taking the risk. He's going to reject Jungkook.
