They've always been together.

They've been together for as long as they can remember.

December 30, 1995:

"Aww what an adorable baby" Nayeon squealed with her quietest voice seeing Jennie's adorable newborn baby.

She was at the side of the room holding the 1 year old Namjoon with his husband, watching Jennie's husband hand the baby to Jennie.

Nayeon and his husband let them have their moment, gave them time to appreciate the newborn baby.

Jennie snapped, remembering that her bestfriend is in the room.

"Nayeon, come here" she said with a quiet voice, her other hand which wasn't holding the baby gesturing for Nayeon to come closer.

Nayeon's face lighted up. She slowly went closer to Jennie and her baby.

Jennie gestured Nayeon to hold her baby.

"Really?!" Nayeon excitedly asked but still with a soft voice to not stress out the baby.

Jennie nodded, giggling because of her friend.

Nayeon handed Namjoon to his father, Jennie's husband.

Nayeon held the baby in his arms, staring at the baby's features.

"He's not even one day old but I can see that he's super handsome" Nayeon said, amazed by the baby's beauty.
"What's his name?"

Jennie and her husband looked at each other while saying "Taehyung. Kim Taehyung" at the same time.

September 4, 1997:

Jennie, her husband, her two sons, and Seokjin are at the Jeon's house, waiting for Nayeon's arrival. They are ready to welcome her newborn baby.

Nayeon and her husband got back from the hospital after staying there for 4 days.

She gave birth to baby Jungkook at September 1 but stayed in the hospital for a few days to rest.

Jennie's husband helped the Jeons carry their things to their house.
While Jennie helped and guided Nayeon to her home.

Nayeon sat on the sofa, sighing in relief.

Jennie sat beside her.

"Welcome home, baby Jungkook" Jennie muttered while Jungkook's baby hand holds her point finger.

Jennie squealed inside.

Nayeon just smiled at her baby and friend.

Seokjin then rushed to his mother but he didn't make any noise to not startle his little brother.

"Mommy, is he my baby brother?" little Seokjin asked his mother.

"Yes, baby. You're a big brother to three little boys now" Nayeon and Seokjin giggled.

"Mama" they heard Taehyung call his mother.

Jennie got up and went to carry baby Taehyung.

Jennie sat besides Nayeon again.

"Taehyung, this is Jungkook. You'll be together with him now" Jennie introduced Taehyung to Jungkook knowing that neither of them understand.

"Kook" Taehyung muttered quietly, looking at the baby.

October 6, 2002:

Taehyung is now 6 years old and Jungkook is 5 years old.

You could say that Taehyung and Jungkook are bestfriends.
