Chapter 7

She was avoiding him and was certain that he knew she was doing it. Right now she didn't know what else to do, she couldn't be certain if he'd made that move on purpose or if it had simply been an actual reaction, and she was half afraid of his answer. She finally told everyone she was going to bed and hid herself inside her room for the night and decided to make a few video calls. She waited for Ash to answer. Unless she'd made a horrible miscalculation it should be the early morning where she was, but not too early.

"June, how's it going with my guy?" A beautiful cheerful blonde asked with a grin curling her pouty lips.

"I think he's more stubborn than you told me."

"Probably. He's going to drive you nuts," she chuckled.

"We've been using you as a threat to keep him in line. He misses you so much, and I think he's right about going public."

"Not you, too, he already has the guys and Cass on his side."

"Because he's right and he adores you. Well, and I want him to officially be my brother." June laughed. "You were right. I do like them all. I'm getting Jin to teach me to cook."

"Glad you're getting along with them. And..."

June looked at her innocently. "And what...exactly?"

"And Jimin...June, I know your type: shorter, cute with a great smile."

"You know who else that describes, right?" June teased.

"Neither one of you would dare." She responded with a glare.

June laughed as a knock sounded on my door. "Come in." Yoongi stuck his head inside and she waved him over. "Talk to the most annoying person I have ever met."

As soon as he saw her, his face brightened and his features softened with his gorgeous gummy smile spreading across his face. "She rates a video call, and all I get are some texts."

"She called me, handsome, to complain about you."

"I've been nothing but helpful and accommodating." He said dropping onto the bed. "Right?"

"He's been great. I've already adopted him and Hobi as brothers."

Ash laughed, even as her eyes drank in the vision of the man she loved.

June looked back and forth between them. "Get a room, you two."

Both of them blushed brightly at the comment. "I don't have time for that, I have practice in an hour so I really do have to go. Ash sighed still staring at Yoongi. "I'll video call you tonight, babe, I promise."

He smiled. "Finally, something worth waking up for. Love you."

"Love you, too." She replied, giving a wave before ending the call.

"Damn, but I miss her."

June squeezed his good shoulder, the gave him a hug. "Tell Hobi to give me ten minutes then come in, before you go to sleep, I'm calling Cass next and I'm sure he'll want to see her."

He nodded, getting up and heading for the door before pausing a couple of steps away, turning back to look at June. "I don't know what happened between you and Jimin, but you can talk to me about it. I'll do my best to help you understand his stupidity."

"I'll keep that in mind. For now, I'm not ready to talk it over."

He nodded. "Offer is still open."

"Thanks." As he left, June made the second call of the night, and sat there waiting for Cass to answer.
