Chapter 15

June was seated in the still empty concert hall watching BTS rehearse their show.  Next to her was Ash and Andi both of them had their focus intently on the men on the stage as they ran through their song set. Right now they were discussing/arguing about something but we were too far away to hear what it was.

Andi was frowning. "I don't know why you had to drag me here?" she glared at Ash. "I would have been fine alone in the apartment."

"You love them, just be quiet and enjoy the show," Ash said.

She groaned, clearly unhappy to be where she was. "Can I talk to you for a minute, Andi?"

"Sure," she agreed, clearly happy to be moving away from where Namjoon was standing. We walked away from Ash so we could have some privacy.

"I talked to him, Andi," June told her. "You need to speak with him."

"You have a discussion with him and all of a sudden I'm a liar and he never said what he said." She growled at me.

"He never denied saying any of it. He admitted it and he's sorry, and honestly, I don't think you should be as angry at him as you are." June held up her hand. "I want you to hear me out. He said it, yes, he broke your heart, yes..."

"You believe his excuses."

"I do, because the man you told me about, the one I've come to know over the past weeks, he would never have said those things."

"Then why did he?" She shot back, glowering at June.

"You know how the boys are, how they like to tease. Two days of that, Andi. They tormented him with your crush for two days, and he snapped."

She froze. "How could they have known?" Blushing furiously, she'd never ever thought any of them had realized her enormous crush on Joonie.

"Sweetie, everyone knew. I never saw you with him and I knew. You might as well have been a cartoon character and had hearts floating all around your head. You didn't hide it, at all. It's just that none of us mentioned it to you, because we didn't want to embarrass you."

"Well, this is humiliating." She buried her face in his hands.

"It's not, we all thought it was cute."

"Oh God!" She groaned. "I think that I want to die." She let the news wash over her. No one knowing had been the only good point of the whole ordeal. "If they all knew why didn't Tae, Jimin, and JK tease me?"

"From what I understand, he threatened them because he didn't want you disconcerted."

"Okay." Andi began shuffling through her memories of that time. "I can't believe everyone knew."

"I was going to have him show up to the apartment so he could sort things out with you. But, I decided you'd probably kill me if I did that, that's why I wanted to talk to you now."

"I would have murdered you," Andi agreed.

"He wants to talk to you, to apologize, and he's headed this way right now." June waved at her and hurried away.

"You're going to die, June." Andi shouted, before her eyes fell on the man she'd been avoiding the past five years.

JUNE'S POV

I heard the echo of "You're going to die, June," following me as I basically ran from my friend. Hopefully the outcome would be so good that she'd forget about wanting me dead. I saw Jimin talking to Yoongi and I made a beeline directly for the two of them.
