DRAKEN grunted as his breathing quickened and started sweating, he clenched his eyes as turned his head from a side to the other.
<Oi>
He felt a tap on his cheek.

Two more taps.

A whole hand collided violently with both his cheeks, making him jolt up and open his eyes.
His head felt dizzy as his vision was moving in circles, and a sudden urge to puke hurried in him. He closed his eyes and massaged his temples, hoping for the sickening feeling to go away.
Meanwhile beside him, he could hear some ruffling. It seemed like also the others had the same experience hearing from the grunts.
<Guys? Are you alright?>
He asked while rubbing his eyes and clearing his dry throat.
<Yeah, still alive>
Mitsuya softly said as he barely heard his friend's voice because of the ringing in his ears, numbing his head.
Draken relaxed a bit when his vision stabilized and could finally see his friends safe and sound beside him.

Draken held his cheek as a hand landed on his face. It oddly hurt and burned, he was sure a red mark was left on his skin after that.
The blond boy turned to the person who hit him with such force and was surprised to see a boy with dual colored hair, heterochromic eyes and visibly younger than him.
His eyes fell on the corpse behind the unknown boy. It clearly wasn't human, and was still alive...well, barely.
Did this boy do it?

The stranger boy glared the group of non shamans. He was obviously annoyed for some reason, which irked the braided haired teen.
<Cyan sent me here. They're busy somewhere else. And if it weren't for you four, I would've also been with them now.>
The boy said as he stood up from his seated position, his eyes sending cold glares before turning around to walk away.
Whatever they're doing now, I can't stop them... I can't save them.
