Hello! Thank you for reading! I know, this book is probably the worst book you'll read, but I had reasons. This was my first ever book. Like ever. The only time I'd written a story is in English class, not a whole-ass reading app. Anyways, People seem to still read this, so I'm not going to delete or unpublish it. So before you continue reading, bare in mind I was a shitty writer with no experience!

Y/N sat alone with her younger sister, the weight of recent tragedy pressing down on her chest like a boulder. Just days ago, their parents had been brutally, senselessly murdered—a night forever etched into her memory with blood and screams. With no other family to turn to, she was forced into the care of her uncle, a man she loathed with every fiber of her being.
Deep down, she was certain he had something to do with the deaths. The way he avoided her gaze, the way his hands trembled when the police came to question him—it all screamed guilt. But Y/N kept silent. Fear clenched her throat shut. Who would believe a grieving teenager over a respected man with money and influence?
One dreary afternoon, as she sat at the edge of a near-empty train platform, her sister dozing beside her, a man in a perfectly tailored suit approached. He was too clean, too calm—out of place in the grit of the city. He offered her a smile that didn't quite reach his eyes and sat beside her without invitation.
"You look like someone who could use a little money," he said smoothly, pulling two cards from his coat pocket—one blue, one red. "Wanna play a game?"
Y/N narrowed her eyes. She'd been a pickpocket for months now—just to get by, just to feed her sister—but this felt... off. Still, something about the man's tone, his confidence, made her curious. Desperate.
She took the card.
Moments later, she was blindfolded in the back of a van, the tires humming against the pavement. A sick feeling coiled in her stomach.
She had no idea where she was going—but something told her that once she arrived, nothing would ever be the same again.
