Kenjisparent1999: Can someone come over quickly? Something's wrong with Kenji.
Trilingual_papii: I'm coming Fray.

James sprinted over to Fray's house as soon as they could. They saw Fray with tears in their eyes and Kenji on the floor,looking like he's almost dead.
"James. I think Kenji's going to die. I don't want him to die. He's been part of my life since birth. I can't let him go.",they started crying out.
"Fray. It's going to be tough,"James replied. "I'm sorry. Remember that Kenji will always be in your heart."
"I can't let him go.", Fray replied.
"You have to,I'm afraid.",he whispered.
Their parents came home a few minutes later.
"Fraser. Where are you?", their dad shouted.
"Dad. Mum. It's Kenji! He's dying.",they shouted back,trying to hold back tears.
"What do you mean?",he replied.
"He's lying on the ground with his mouth drooling. Please. Come into the kitchen.",they shouted back louder.
Their dad went into the kitchen to see the family dog dying on the floor. Fray was sobbing uncontrollably now as they realised that Kenji would not make it.
"Quickly Fraser. Take him to the Goddamn Vets!",their dad yelled. The trip to the vets took around 20 minutes and by then,Kenji was barely breathing.
It took minutes for the vet to realise what was happening with Kenji. The vet took them all together.
"Kenji has an irregular heartbeat. It was undiagnosed. It is very unlikely he'll survive the night. I'm sorry but I'm afraid that we have to put him down."The vet broke out.
"What do you mean?"Fray replied.
"He's dying Fray."James whispered.
"Fray! Who in the hell is Fray?",their dad yelled as he overheard their conversation.
"No one",they replied.
"Anyways. You need to say your last goodbyes",the vet said sternly.
"Dad. Can I do mine personally?"Fray asked.
"Yeah sure.",their dad replied.
They walked into the room where Kenji was. He looked so down,knowing that he was going to die within the next hour. Fray made sure that they spent the next 5 minutes with him as Kenji was the only one there for them until they were like 6 years old.
"Kenji. You can't hear me at the moment but I love you. You saved my life. Without you, God knows where I will be now. I just need you to know now that I'll miss you. Thank you for being there for me for the past 15 years of my life." they paused for a sob. "Remember when I was 6 years old and I was at the beach with James and you started chasing us around the seaside area. Then,we all got soaked. Dad was most certainly pissed about that. Also,remember when I was 10 and I was sobbing after a bad day at school due to wearing my sister's skirt and you just started comforting me when dad was screaming at me for not being a true man. I guess you were the first person I came out to as well. I'll miss you so much Kenji. See you on the other side."
Then,Kenji's heart monitor started beeping more frequently,stating that he was dying. They started breaking down in the room as Kenji was no longer alive. James ran into the room to take them outside for a quick breather.
When they came home,they went to post on their instagram:

Kenjisparent1999: I'm sorry for the sad post but today I lost of my best friends in the entire world. Kenji. You were my childhood dog and words can't describe how I feel at the moment. RIP Kenji 1998-2015
