After several hours Sam revealed that not only was Danny finding it difficult to sleep, but Sam was too.
"Danny?" Sam whispered.
"So you can't sleep either, huh?" Danny sighed and Sam nodded.
"What are you going to do if he comes after one of us?" Sam asked.
"Sam, can we not talk about that right now please?" Danny responded with a very stressed out voice.
"I'm just saying, he's gonna come back and you clearly weren't ready for him. What's going to make you anymore ready now then you were then?" Sam asked in frustration as she sat up and looked to Danny.
"I don't know Sam. I really have no clue. Chernobog, the First, The Sword, War, whatever you wanna call him, struck the most vulnerable person in the family. My dad was never the brightest you know?" Danny snapped.
"Wait a minute, did you just refer to him as War?" Sam asked as a light switch went off in her head and she got up and started pacing.
"Oh yeah, and I forgot to tell you the good news, if I destroy him, then I have to deal with his brother and his two sisters." Danny snapped and Sam shook her head.
"Danny this is really bad." Sam sighed.
"Tell me about it." Danny agreed.
"No, I think this thing is one of the four horsemen. The first horsemen is War. That means they intend to destroy the world and I bet you are the one thing stopping them." Sam said this and Danny looked confused.
"Why couldn't they just wait another century when I'm dead then?" Danny snapped.
"Earlier today when your Mom didn't say anything to you when you implied that she would rather see you dead, your human form started to fade away. Maybe even after you die you'll still be Danny Phantom. Maybe those powers will just transfer to the ghost zone with you. They already transfer now." Sam explained. "And if that's true it wouldn't matter if you died. You would still be a danger to them." Danny was in deep thought.
"You don't think it's just a coincidence that there's 4 of them. I mean Quadruplets aren't exactly uncommon, you know." Danny suggested.
"No I don't. I'm sorry Danny, but it looks like, once again the fate of the world rests on your shoulders." Sam sighed and Danny looked at Sam in exhaustion.
"I was just a kid the first time this crap happened. Now I'm barely an adult, and I probably have several powers I don't know about, and now I find out that even after I die, I still don't escape from this stupid level of responsibility?" Danny snapped. "Looks like I'm gonna have to rebuild the ghost portal the way my Dad did it before, because I can't live that life. Not only is it causing all kinds of problems for me, but it's hurting the people I love the most."
"Danny," Sam sighed and she walked over to him and put her hand on his cheek lovingly. "don't you remember what the issue was the first time this happened? You said they were causing you problems, and hurting your family, and yet something was missing after you took away your powers. Not to mention it almost killed you. Danny, eventually you knew you did the wrong thing when Masters Blasters started to charge for ghost hunting, and you felt bad that you weren't helping people anymore. That responsibility will always be in the back of your head making you feel terrible for not doing something about it."
"Masters Blasters isn't a thing anymore Sam and the ghosts are no longer haunting Amity Park." Danny reminded Sam.
"Danny I gave you this same talk after you gave up your powers. I can't let you make that mistake again." Sam sighed and Danny shook his head.
