Chapter 6: A Battle of Sacrifice and Will

Danny was eating in front of Sam while Sam drank a soda. She had already eaten but wanted to spend as much time with him as possible. Just then Jazz walked over to them and sat down by them. She kind of just smiled at the both of them as they looked at her awkwardly.

"Im sorry but I feel that I should educate you both since Mom and Dad never had the talk with Danny."Jazz overstepped just like her Mom.

"Jazz I was in a college frat house for 3 years who always asked me if I understood what sex even was and so they offered to have a girl teach me and when I declined...." Danny started to say and then he looked incredibly uncomfortable. "they uh....let's just say they showed me how to do it and honestly they didn't exactly play it safe, but I took sex education so I know what to do." Sam looked genuinely angered.

"You watched another girl have sex?!" Sam shouted and Danny looked away.

"Uh, I didn't exactly have a choice. Because when I kept looking away two other guys kind of held my head in place and when I closed my eyes another guy held my eyes open." Danny explained shamefully and Sam looked shocked.

"And yet you stayed there?" Sam asked.

"I didn't really have anywhere else to go. The only reason they let me in was because they got to help me keep my secret identity." Danny explained. "They were kind of stoked about having a super hero stay with them." Danny said this and Sam nodded as she let out a sigh.

"Was she.....pretty?" Sam asked uncomfortably.

"She wasn't pretty like you Sam. But she WAS pretty loud." Danny responded and Sam smirked. " I also saw too much of Jake and so I was mainly focused on that." Danny added and Sam let out a laugh but Jazz looked sad.

"My baby brothers all grown up." Jazz sighed and then she started to walk away.

"You guys missed 3 years Jazz. What did you think was going to happen?" Danny asked and Jazz turned to him angrily.

"We didn't miss 3 years Danny, you stole them from us." Jazz then stormed out of the room. Danny just looked at the ground and shook his head.

"I really can't catch a break. Can I?" Danny sighed and Sam put her hand on his and he looked to her.

"Give her time." Sam reassured Danny.

"Well depending on what happens, I might not get that opportunity." Danny said this and Sam looked slightly bummed out.........

FOUR MONTHS LATER:

War still hadn't showed up. Danny would NEVER allow himself to be off his guard so he took the new device everywhere. It was usually in a backpack that he carried around. Sam and Tucker had helped Danny get all of his ghost-tech from his frat house a few days after he fully recovered from his concussion and they were sure he was better. The Fenton family pulled their money together and bought themselves a new house and Danny immediately started making alterations and he built a new ghost portal in the basement. Vlad and the other ghosts still followed them around in their intangible form. Sam started college again, so she could have a distraction. Danny was walking out of an ice cream shop with Dani as Skulker, Johnny 13, and Vlad were all following behind in their intangible forms. Danny went to lick his ice-cream when there was a massive shake in the earth, as if it were an earthquake. However, they were nowhere near a fault line and everybody fell to their knees from the force. Danny looked up and saw that the sky was turning dark and the sun became blood red. Danny heard someone scream.

"OH MY GOD IT'S BLOOD!!!" A woman cried and Danny turned his head and saw that a nearby fountain's water ran with blood. Danny looked to the ghosts.
