Chapter 7: A Fight for Love and Safety

Danny slowly woke up and saw that he had Ember with her arm and leg wrapped around him. Danny realized that he had nothing on and was covered with a blanket. He was in his ghost form and somehow he had broken out of his in love trance and he looked shocked as he stood there, and as upset as he was, he knew he couldn't panic. He had to get rid of the guitar before doing anything. Danny noticed it in the corner and Danny reached his hand out and levitated it. He then threw it up and he shot a ghost ray at it and completely obliterated it. Ember woke up immediately. Danny then looked around and saw that his Danny Phantom suit was nowhere to be found and so he changed human and went ghost in the blink of an eye and the suit was back on again.

"Ok I don't even know HOW you got my suit off because I didn't think that was even possible, and I can't believe you could possibly think that this was a level that even YOU should stoop to, but when it comes to getting a man to fall in love with you, THIS is not the way to go!" Danny snapped and Ember rolled her eyes.

"Trust me, it won't happen again because quite honestly it was a bit of a disappointment." Ember threw shade.

"Well considering I'm a virgin, that might be why!" Danny shouted and Ember looked surprised.

"Really? You and your girlfriend never fooled around in high school?" Ember asked in disbelief.

"She wasn't my girlfriend until after we saved the world!" Danny said this and Ember let out a long sigh.

"Well thank-you for letting me cross the line without knowing how inexperienced you were." Ember said and Danny got pissed.

"You didn't really give me much of a chance you asshole!" Danny yelled and Ember just looked the other way and shook her head. Just then Skulker walked in and saw them and then saw the bed and looked to Ember in anger.

"You seriously thought that this would be a good time to act upon your urges?" Skulker asked.

"The girlfriend was out of the picture, so yeah. Don't worry though, it won't happen again." Ember replied and Skulker walked over to her and then threw the cuff around her neck and Ember looked at him in betrayal.

"What you have done is of the highest level of crime. You will be punished." Skulker said and then he looked to Danny as Ember threw herself into a chair. "Are you alright?"

"You know, I really wish everybody would stop asking me that." Danny snapped and then he flew out of the building. Skulker looked to Ember.

"The woman he loves was lying in her deathbed and you thought it would be wise to do what you did? We may be ghosts, but we're not evil, heartless drones." Skulker said this and Ember looked away from him.

"Just take me away Skulk." Ember stated. .....

Danny flew into Tucker's mansion and found everybody sick in their own beds and then he found Dani taking care of Sam. Danny walked over to her and turned into his human form.

"Thanks for filling in while I was gone." Danny said this and Dani gasped as she turned to him and then she rushed over and hugged him.

"Are you," Dani started and Danny interrupted.

"Don't even ask." Danny snapped and Dani let go and looked at him sadly.

"She got worse while you were gone." Dani revealed and Danny looked over at Sam and saw that her lips were very chapped and they were discolored. Her cheeks were red as she was succumbing to the fever. Danny went over to Sam and sat down beside her and then leaned down close to her and kissed her.
