Chapter 4: Ensured Safety Through Trials

Two Weeks Later....

Danny, Sam, and Tucker walked into a church and looked around.

"Danny we've visited 20 churches. What makes you think this one will be any different so much that you were willing to drive 2 hours outside of the city limits?" Sam whispered.

"I don't know." Danny sighed as he seemed to be in deep thought. "Something drew me to this one. Still I'm not going to stop until I find someone who will give me a blessing." Danny replied.

"Can I help you?" A voice asked and Danny, Sam, and Tucker turned and saw a priest. Just then Danny's ghost sense went off and the priest raised an eyebrow. "So, you are just like Dani?" The voice said this and Danny looked confused.

"I AM Danny." Danny replied.

"And what are you doing here?" A familiar female voice asked and Danny turned and saw Dani Fenton sitting in the arms of a statue nearby and she was wearing a white crop top with a brown leather jacket and brown leather pants with combat boots.

"What are YOU doing here?" Danny responded with the same question. Dani jumped off the statue and started walking over to Danny.

"I've been hiding out here ever since those demons started going after you. One of them chased me down and did some pretty rough damage. Priest Bradley found me outside and brought me into his church and immediately used holy water to get the demon to leave. He then gave both my human form and my ghost form a blessing. It turns out that since I'm your clone, and somebody had to step up when you disappeared, they found me and tried to kill me. We must have the same power source or something." Dani explained and Danny felt awful.

"Dani I'm so sorry." Danny apologized. "You should have never had to deal with it." Dani had tears in her eyes.

"I thought you were dead." Dani sighed and Danny hugged her.

"I'm sorry." It was all Danny could say.

"I assume you need me to do the same thing that I did for Dani?" The priest asked and Danny let go of Dani and turned to the priest.

"I need it to stop the four horsemen from destroying the world." Danny revealed and the priest immediately looked concerned.

"The end of days is coming. As much as I know I will be fine when it does, I know people who have yet to find faith. So I will bless your ghost and human forms. Just know, that due to the unholiness of your ghost form, it will be painful. Just as bad as an exorcism." The priest explained and Danny nodded in acceptance.

"I'm sure I can manage to deal with it." Danny sighed and the priest nodded and then looked to Dani.

"Dani, please set up the proper ceremonial items while I bless his friends." The priest said and then he turned to Tucker and Sam and pulled out holy water and then started his process......

Danny was waiting unsurely and then Dani came out from a door and she looked to the priest.

"It's ready." Dani sighed and they all followed Dani to a room that was made of stone and in the center there were many candles lit and the second Danny set foot in the room he fell to his knees and cried out in pain. The priest nodded at two men who were in the room.

"Quickly now." The priest sighed and the two men grabbed Danny and Danny's eyes turned red immediately and he got out of their grip and he started to try to fight off the men but every time he tried to strike them he couldn't even touch them. The man kept going forward and this caused Danny to be backed up into a circle of candles and the second he was in the center the men stepped back and a ring of light formed around the candles and Danny fell to his knees as he cried out in anguish.
