Chapter 10: Ghosts, Magic, Demons, and the Future

10 Years After That:

Nova was flying through the ghost zone hectically as she was clearly in danger and was glowing white. She was now 14 years old and was a real hero. She was being chased by many shadows.

"Fenton 3, what's your location?" Danny's voice came over Nova's headpiece. Nova could hardly breathe though. She pressed the button to respond but it wasn't very clear.

"I don't.....know...." Nova coughed as she flew as fast as she could.

"Nova gimma some more information. We can't find you." Danny was panicking at this point.

"I've....never been....this far...into the ghost zone.... before. If I could I would." Nova said and just then a massive shadow that was about 40 times the size of Nova jumped in front of her as she held her button down and hadn't let go. Nova gasped as she stopped.

"NOVA WHAT'S WRONG?!!!" Danny shouted.

"Screw it. I'm going out to find her." Jackson's voice came from within the earpiece.

"Skulker go with him." Danny drew the line.

"Ahhhh...." A dark voice said to Nova. "little Nova Aurora Fenton. The shining gem of the Fenton bloodline." Danny heard this dark voice on the headset and looked incredibly concerned and turned to Sam.

"Can you PLEASE find her faster!?" Danny shouted desperately and Sam was tracking Nova's head piece.

"Im...I'm zero-ing in on her." Sam replied as she was incredibly nervous.

"Who are you?!" Nova shouted bravely and then about thirty shadows crowded her and she screamed.

"NOVA!!!" Danny cried.

"I've got her!" Sam shouted and just as she saw the location the technology had been destroyed and she lost the signal. "DAMNIT!" Tucker's son Jeremiah was with them and he started typing a few things in.

"One minute and I can pull up where that was based on her last location." Jeremiah said and soon he had the location pulled up.

"STEP ON IT!!" Danny cried as he was terrified. Sam looked to him in concern.

"What happened?" Sam asked and Danny didn't know what to say. He just shook his head with tears in his eyes.

Nova finally saw a bit of light and saw that she was being held by many dark shadows and she was face to face with this evil thing.

"It's nice that you know my name. Care to tell me yours, or are you going for a Nancy Drew vibe where we inevitably figure it out on our own anyways through a series of clues?" Nova asked as you could tell she had been extremely weakened and she was stalling so she could regain her strength.

"You are too much like your father for your own good aren't you?" The villain laughed.

"You know, if my father could still hear all of this, he would probably be saying the same thing." Nova replied.

"Well Nova Fenton, you will be meeting the end your father never met. We'll see how he feels when you suffer the pain he should have suffered for killing my four children. There must be a price and I have sat back watching for years just waiting to see which one of you children he holds most dear, and I hate to tell you child, but you are quite obviously his favorite. Like your father said, an eye for an eye. He kills my children, and I kill his. And you will be the first." The evil thing said.

Skulker and Jackson were flying when they came across an area where the ghost zone went from green to red and Skulker pulled Jackson back.

"You can't go in there. That's the border of the demon realm.You may be able to enter without it hurting you but if a demon pulls you past the border, you're gone. Nova would never enter here." Skulker said and then Danny's ship went strait past them.
