Before the sun had rose to it's peak, Jeongguk was already set on the grounds of Gayeol, disguised as a commoner who came from a near by village
"...raven's necklace" He mumbled again, scheming to reach the place where the festival took place. His gestures were very calm impossible for someone to guess that his thoughts ran astray and wild in his mind.
He had removed all his jewels which identified him as the royal blood, removed his batches and made sure to put on the necklace to put a seal to his powers
He shifted back to his human form as soon as he reached the border of Gayeol, he tried to sniff taehyung's and made his wolf connect to his mate but he only got a heavy scent of dried roses clouding around him..means taehyung isn't here as wel.l He sighed looking forward to get his hands on the next clue as fast as he could knowing he didn't have much time
He made pass all the places he remembered when they went to the festival, crossing all the different allies and a village which took them to their destination but so far he couldn't see anything expect the barren land before his eyes, his senses weren't as strong as they should be because of the power seal he wore around his neck, when he saw a sign saying closed end before him, haze filled his mind as he almost lost his balance and fell in the pit below him. He noticed how the sun had dipped so low that hardly any rays of it enlightened the city the time was running out it was the 3rd day and he had not even a single clue of taehyung's where abouts
"How will I find him.." his heart clenched slowly losing hope, the Alpha inside him growled to feel and hold his mate close
Jeongguk's hand unconsciously came in contact with the hard but moist bark of the tree under which he was standing and suddenly something fell nearly hitting his head and knocking him out.
"Aish! I-" he stopped when he noticed what was it, a fruit along with a brown paper his hands moved faster than the lightening to pick up the paper lying on the muddy ground, he fidgeted the paper in his hands taking a deep breathe
"Please" He said slowly unfolding it and reading the unknown scribbled words on it.

"Gayeol only has one light house near the Su lake the biggest trading station between Kinaan and Gayeol! Means.... my omega is there.."
Su lake was not far away, it was about half a mile away from where Jeongguk was, without thinking twice he ran on the soft muddy ground beneath, the paper tightly crumbled in his left hand as he seeks the light house. Before he knew he stood before the bridge of Su lake, squinting his eyes on the intensity of light, the riddle perfectly fits but, he was not sure if he'd find something here, in a light house...taehyung can't make it this far alone with Yeonmi and Seolhyun Oh! A man...? He missed that part
Someone...in the...light house, someone who might know where taehyung is..he didn't wait any longer and went running towards the huge tower. He was welcomed by a rusty wooden door at the entrance which didn't even take a good push to open wide and fall apart. Without wasting a second he climbed the stairs leading to the terrace and then the roof he slowly panted holding the grilling, looking up to see not even a single or certain somone present there, he shuffled around to find something or someone that clue refers to..
"Nothing....Ahh!" He growled again losing hope
"Damn it! Please...please just make him come back" his eyes almost welled up at the thought of losing his mate forever and maybe he didn't miss the slight rustle of footsteps, the next second he held an unknown man with his throat pinning him to the ground
"Where is my mate?" Jeongguk asked his voice heavy and stern, his hold was almost as hard and frightening as his wrath
"I- i don't-"
"I ask you one more time. Where is he?" Jeongguk held him tighter around his neck almost chocking the life out of him
"T-ta..take t-this" the man shoved his hand towards him and Jeongguk was quick to go for whatever the man had given him
"What is this!?"
