"Shit I'm late!" I cursed to myself as I scrambled out of bed. I quickly stormed to my closet desperately looking for anything remotely nice to wear. I decided on a baggy pair of cuffed jeans and my favorite Green Day T-shirt layered on top of a long-sleeve white shirt. After throwing on some ankle-high socks and my black converse to match I quickly ran to the bathroom to finish getting dressed. Once dressed I quickly made my way downstairs, threw on my backpack, and started to make my way to the garage. I didn't get far before my mom stopped me in my tracks.

"good morning sweetie" my mom called out to me from the kitchen table.

I paused too much in rush to understand a thing she said.

"huh?"

"I said good morning Sweetie" My mom chuckled shaking her head at me with a smile.

"Oh."

"good morning to you too," I said politely and then quickly went back to my frenzied self.

I glanced at the clock on the microwave and realized I could still make it on time if I rushed. "I gotta go, mom. I'll see you tonight!" I called out right before I ran out the door to the garage.

I pressed the button to open the garage before grabbing my skateboard that was sitting propped up against the wall. I threw my skateboard on the ground and began speeding down the sidewalk. Going much faster than I should be, I soon was close to the school.

I began to make the turn to my high school not realizing a certain impala was too. The driver must not have been paying attention as it just barely stopped before it could hit me. Luckily no damage was done, but it did scare the shit out of me. I quickly turned around and flipped them the bird as the driver honked at me angrily. The boy in the passenger seat sheepishly waved and mouthed a 'sorry' to me which I ignored and ran off on my skateboard.

I ran to my locker. Since, like everyone, I just carry my bag with me all day I have plenty of room to fit my board. Once I was done I headed to my first class: geometry. I briskly walked to Mr. wood's class and took a seat in my usual seat in the back. Seats weren't necessarily assigned but everyone stayed in fairly the same spot every day, aside from the two girls who fought over the nice seat next to the window. I don't blame them though; a glimpse into the outside world is rare in high school.

"Alright class before we begin I'd like to introduce Mr. Dean Winchester." Mr. Woods gestured to the boy next to him. The boy was fairly tall and handsome too. He wore a pair of beat-up jeans and a black T-shirt with a flannel over the top of it. As I looked at him I couldn't help but feel like I'd seen him before.

I was broken from my thoughts by the sound of my name.

"Dean if you'd like you can take the seat next to Victoria in the back"

Then it dawned on me how I know him: The car from this morning! He was the boy in the passenger seat!

"Are you Victoria?" Dean asked me, most likely looking for his seat.

"Uh yeah. Dean right?" I asked even though I definitely knew his name was Dean considering Mr. Woods just said it twice now.

"Yeah... Hey you're the girl we almost ran over aren't you?" Dean chuckled.

Mr.Woods had started class by now but neither of us noticed nor seemed to care. We simply lowered our voices so we wouldn't get in trouble.

"Yeah tell your dad to watch where he's going." I made sure to chuckle to show I wasn't being serious.

"Sorry for flipping you off by the way. I was sorta in a hurry and y'all scared the shit out of me" I laughed. Looking back on it, my actions were a bit unwarranted considering I too wasn't paying attention.
