Chapter 2

So the next day, Shido met Tohka again at the school. They began to date all day with the help from Ratatoskr and me too. At the afternoon, when they were having a nice conversation, Shido got shot! I was shocked when I saw that until I knew he has a healing power. Tohka went berserk but luckily, Shido sealed her before anything bad could happen.

And that's basically what happened yesterday. Right now, I was sitting in the classroom, playing mobile games when Tohka entered the class with a box of cookies. Not too long after that, Origami walked in and gave him her cookies too.

Tohka: Shido, hurry up and try mine!

Origami: You should try mine first.

Shido was sweating bullets before he decided to pick the cookies from both of the boxes, and put them in his mouth at the same time.

Shido: Mm, they're both great.

Tohka: See? He ate mine a little bit faster.

Origami: He ate mine 0,02 seconds faster.

Man, those two were like cat and dog, trying to get attention from their owner.

I had to say, just looking at those cookies make me drool. Of course I didn't really drool or that would be disgusting.

Before I knew, someone put a plate of cupcakes that decorated to look like cats on my table.

Ai: Heyo, Ngoc.

Ngoc: Sup.

Ai: So, quick question: Do you want to taste my cupcake? Well, I would like to hear some of your opinions since I just learned how to cook.

Ngoc: Eh, sure. Why not?

I picked up a cupcake and took a bite. Then I immediately swallowed the whole thing. I don't know if I like sweet or I was hungry when I ate almost all of her cupcakes. I could tell Ai was surprised and happy at the same time.

Ngoc: This is so good~! Thank you, Ai.

Ai: I didn't actually make this for you but if you want, I will make more cupcakes just for you.

Ngoc: Really? I look forward to it.

It's nice to have a friend like her.

After school, me and Shido were on our way home when it suddenly started to rain.

And they said it was going to be clear today.

Ngoc: Damn you, weather report.

As we ran past the shrine, I stopped. Shido noticed so he stopped and looked at me.

Shido: What are you doing? Come on or you will catch a cold!

Ngoc: You go home first. I'll catch up with you later.

He continued going home. The reason why I stopped was because there was a little girl with a green costume and ears-like rabbit hood, playing in the rain.
