Chapter 11

-Itsuka Residence-

Look at that. Today is a beautiful day. Birds are singing. Flowers are blooming. Today will be a wonderful day.

That was my thoughts. Until...

*Bam*

An explosion could be heard from outside of my house. I was already standing at the window so I only turned to my right and I immediately knew where it came from.

A smoke came from the Spirit Mansion and it came out from a certain floor. Not only that, few seconds later, another floor was covered with ice.

And obviously, I couldn't ignore that. With a sigh, I forcibly walked over there.

Just like that, my morning was ruined.

I don't know about Tohka but Yoshino was crying because Yoshinon was stuck in drain while they're showering. I got Yoshinon out and gave back to her, despite the freezing water. At the same time, Shido was able to calm Tohka down.

Later, we went back to our house with Tohka and Yoshino. Currently, I was helping Shido cleaning the dishes.

Kotori: I'm always telling you guys to be careful because Spirits' powers will return to them if their emotional states are unstable. It's because you two slept in too late!

Ngoc: Oh, come on. We were up late studying for our tests last night.

Kotori: Whatever. I've got work to do, so I'm heading out. You two don't have school today, so go play with the girls or something. And don't forget your earpieces.

Shido: But we still have some studying to do. Besides, we need to get ready for the school trip, too.

Tohka: "Sugar Tripnut"? Sounds delicious!

Ngoc: No, not "sugar"...

Kotori: I'm going now. Don't screw up.

She left. Then the four of us started to eat breakfast. While we were eating, Shido suddenly stood up after he took a good look on his phone.

Yoshino: Bye.

Tohka: See you later!

Ngoc: Buy for us kinako breads, too.

Shido: I will!

He walked outside and closed the door.

Yoshino: Oyakodon...

Yoshinon: Hey, Yoshino. It's almost time. Our favorite show's on soon.

Yoshino then switched the channel from the news to her favorite show as Tohka and I enjoyed the show with Yoshino and Yoshinon. The news earlier was talking about the twin hurricanes appeared last night and then disappeared. Hope that's not important.
