-The next day-

Standing in front of my house, there I was waiting and thinking.

Reine: In order to see through Natsumi's disguise, you must be able to discern even the smallest inconsistencies in their behavior. Go on a date with each one of them and look for those small nuances.

Man, it felt so wrong going on a date while doubting their identity...

Tohka: Ngoc!

Ngoc: There you are, Tohka.

Tohka: Sorry, did I make you wait?

Ngoc: Nope, you're right on time. I should be saying sorry, for calling you out all of sudden.

Tohka: It's fine. I wanted to go shopping with you after all. It's not everyday I can hang out with you like this.

Ngoc: I see.

Tohka: Anyway, where are we shopping?

Ngoc: Let's see... let's head to the station first, shall we?

Tohka nodded in agreement.

Arriving at the station, Tohka ran to the fountain and waved her hand. I walked up to her.

Tohka: Hey, is something wrong? You seem kinda down.

Ngoc: Oh, it's nothing. I'm fine. I'm totally fine. Haha...

Reine: [Calm down. If she is Natsumi, acting normal won't be enough to tell her apart. Let's try stirring the pot a little.]

Reine spoke through my earpiece.

Ngoc: Got it.

I softly replied.

Ngoc: So, Tohka. How long has it been since we last went out like this?

Tohka: Hm? Why so suddenly? We went out together buying kinako breads two days ago.

Ngoc: Ah, I see.

Looked like she remembered properly if she remembered that detail.

Tohka: But I'm okay going out with you any time. It's always fun, and really makes me happy.

Ngoc: Uh huh...

I didn't think this wasn't Tohka, but at the same time, it could be Natsumi playing perfect as Tohka. Either way, I didn't want to risk it.

Suddenly, my stomach growled.

Ngoc: Guess I'm hungry.

I looked around and saw a restaurant nearby.

Ngoc: Hey, Tohka. Wanna have lunch with me there?

I pointed towards the restaurant across the street.

Tohka: Lunch? I guess that's okay...
