I know I shouldn't have been sleeping in class especially when the principal threatened me that," the next time I see you in my office for sleeping in class, I'm calling your parents and getting you expelled Alex." yes. I know. Mr. Grey is a bit harsh. he tends to act on impulse. he has since I was a kid. And that is because..Principle Grey is my uncle. Yea, so I feel like he's a little biased towards wanting to expel me. Probably since he's dealt with my sleeping habits since he would babysit me as a kid when my parents would go on dates to the little pizza place down the street from our bright yellow house. Everyone whos come over says it reminded them of one of those bright yellow birds that are always chirping outside their windows. Granted I've only ever had one person over and that's because my parents were trying to make me make friends with the neighbor kids. It didn't work. But it's not my fault that I had to punch the kid in the nose. He stole my t-rex toy. You'd do the same don't even try to lie to me.

Either way, I know I shouldn't have been sleeping in class. Even if it was the last period on a Friday. And even tho I'm pretty sure every other kid was dreaming about playing on their gaming councils too. Even so, I was drifting off to my own dream where, surprising enough, Uncle Grey was telling my parents about what a horrible child I was and how they should've put me up for adoption years ago. Soon enough, I awoke with a jolt at the feeling of skinny fingers gently tapping the shoulder blade hiding under my big baggy "Harvard University" sweatshirt. I opened my eyes and turned to look at the person who had, rudely may I say, interrupted. my slumber. As my eyes adjusted to the dim light of the chemistry lab, I felt my cheeks heat with what I am sure was a rosy shade of pink at the sight of the person who may I add, still had their fingers on my back. They had honey-blond hair that was cut at an even length near their flawless jaw. complete with cute wispy bangs. Under their big round glasses, They had hazel eyes that I can only describe as the color of the sand at a vacation beach in Hawaii. They were wearing a cute dress with the pattern of a picnic basket that fit their hourglass-shaped body beautifully.

I sat there in awe as they began to say something. I couldn't really understand them and that's not just because I was still groggy from my nap. A confused look consumed their previous smiling face. "Are you ok love?" they said through a thick British accent. They're British. Oh. My. God. They are BRITISH. I snapped out of it tried to play it cool by resting my chin on my fist but I felt something wet drip onto my fist which was half-covered by my sweatshirt sleeve. I had been drooling. My face felt like it was going to explode and as if I were the flash, I attempted to turn my chair to face my station again to hide my face, which was still as red as a ripe strawberry. I failed. And as a result of said failure, my chair instead of cooperating with me, decided to lose its own balance, probably because this person looked like the goddess of picnics. I felt gravity take over as I crashed to the ground.

The world span around me as the person quickly knelt down and took my head, which had been on the floor, in their hands and placed it in their lap. The fabric of their dress was surprisingly soft. they ran their hands through my short dark hair. "Oh my gosh, are you alright?!? I am so sorry. This is my fault for scaring you I am so sorry. Are you hurt? Do you have a concussion? Are you bleeding at all?" They said as they continued to search my head for what I assumed was a lump or gash. I think they failed to find one because they let out a relieved sigh and I felt them relax slightly. "Oh my gosh... I am SO SORRY. Here let me help you up," They said in a very concerned tone of voice. They took my seat where my legs were still resting away so they fell to the floor where the rest of me was. They then grabbed both my hands which I'm sure in a different situation where I wasn't still in shock would send a delightful shiver down my spine. But right now my spine just hurt. They pulled me up to my feet and grabbed my book which was, "Pride and Prejudice" "Is this all you brought?" They asked. As soon as the question registered in my brain which was still quite frazzled I just slowly nodded. She nodded back and said in a kind voice, "Ok, I'm going to take you to the nurse to make sure you are alright ok?" I didn't want to go to the nurse, but I just let her lead me out the door of the classroom still not completely sure of what was happening. All I could think was, "Wait, where is the teacher?"
