Basically, the gist of the rest of the nurses' visit, the nurse eventually came and fixed me up. I'm all good. Which is good. She asked why I was in a wheelchair once and I looked over at Oli, who I could've sworn I saw blushing. Anywho, that's where we are now. Let us continue*Curtains are pulled back and lights are dimmed*
As Oli and I walked down the hallway I felt my confidence coming back to me, which also meant that I was about to want to get out of there real quick. Yes, it's pretty ironic I know. It felt as though we had been walking forever when I realized that I didn't have a ride home and both my parents were working. I felt my feet stop on their own and my mouth slowly fell open. I felt my eyebrows knit together as I tried to think up a way to get home. I feel like a normal person would just get a friend to drive them home or walk home or something, But me, well first off, I lived 15 minutes by car. I don't even know how I got into this school district. Second, if it wasn't apparent, I'm not exactly the most popular person. I don't have any friends. At all. Before I knew it, Olis dace came into my view and I realized that I literally just stopped randomly and started thinking to myself. My cheeks burned at the realization and I looked up to meet her seashell eyes."By the way, do you happen to need a ride? I recently got my license and I have a feeling you need one." She told me. Wow. The universe was smiling in my favor today.
The car ride to my house was long and awkward. I mean, it wasn't really awkward for me since I was just staring out the window thinking about absolutely nothing, but I'm sure it must have been somewhat strange for her. When we did reach my house and I made sure it was in fact, my house, I got out and started to walk to my front door when her slim fingers snaked around my wrist. "Wait, could I..get your number? I would love to be friends." She said in a sincere voice. I wanted to say no with all my heart. I just couldn't deal with another person trying to be my friend even if I desperately wanted her to swoop me away on her picnic blanket. I basically tossed the thought of such a romantic outing off of my head. You just met this girl Alex. Get a grip. I wasn't really sure what to do so I just gave her my number and she gave me hers. As soon as I finished my homework that night, I got under my covers and started reading. I kept looking at my phone expecting to see a text from Oli but..nothing. Just to be clear, I'm not disappointed or anything, I'm just..surprised is all. Yea. That's it. "You just met this girl. No falling in love that quickly." I reminded myself as I turned my lamp off. Then, I turned it back on and sat up again, making the covers bunch up at the stomach."Or at all...No falling in love..IN general.." I stated to the cold dark emptiness that was my room.I turned my lamp off again and got under the covers again. I had a dream about Oli that night.

Hello, Lovelies!
I'm sorry for the shorter chapter. I wrote this at night and I was tired.
When it comes to an uploading schedule, there probably won't be much of a schedule. I'll kinda just post when I can, whether that's 3 chapters in one day, or not posting for a month. Please be patient with me.
Thanks for reading!
