Grab my neck and cover my mouth,

Take the air that fills my lungs,

Feel the warm tears sneak past your hands,

See the fear in my eyes as you take what is mine,

Hear my pleading screams,

Watch me fight for my life,

Yet all you can do is apologize and beg,

Slowly I fade to a better place,

Only to be ripped from peace by your face,

Breathing air back into me,

Just let me leave,

Let me rest in peace,

Away from your hurtful hands that bring only pain!
