Beyond The Grave

I pray upon the night to let my life slowly drain from me and let the madness and insanity cover me in its darkness,
I have fallen but this time I will not rise back onto my feet,
Beyond the grave I lay with eyes wide praying to the night,
That upon the full moon I am given life,
But life is different,
My life belongs to the night,
For my life,
I say goodnight.

Because beyond the grave the stars have given me sight and into my sight I see a fight,
A child that is scared of life,
A child that tries to belong in her life,
But even though she tries hard to protect others she does not protect herself,
She hides in her sadness covering it with a smile,

Only if people could see her lie...
