This is set after Onyx and her followers were banished. Diamond is hunting them so she will be the most powerful being on the astral plane.
Onyx spun her double sided scythe in front of her with her telekinesis, forming a magic shield. Diamond shot blast after blast at her, all perfectly caught and absorbed by Onyx's powers.
"Mala coniuro praeteritorum, ut me adiuvet in reddendo iustitia ad Planum Astralem!" Onyx raised her arm, a casting circle at her fingertips and shouted the ancient spell, summoning the misunderstood dead from the darkness. Women from Earth's past appeared in bursts of magic, all looking young and healthy, but all incredibly pale. Death will do that to a girl, a reason why Onyx's skin was so pale. She represented Death.
"Ladies, you know what to do!" Joan of arc and Onyx shouted in unison. Joan and Boudicca led the 'undead army' to assist Lyulf and the others with holding back Diamond's forces, allowing Onyx to focus on the false empress herself. (Diamond technically cannot rule because of thé onyx spirit inside her)
Diamond attempted to copy Onyx's spell, but was interrupted by Onyx laughing. "Darling, Necromancy is dark magic. As our dear Diamond Empress, you cannot use dark magic. Unless, your not a true queen and you tricked everyone, proving that you are the evil one here?" Onyx drawled in a sweet voice, all the more deadly.
"We'll see, dear, who the evil one is." Diamond was fuming at her sister's advantage, the one she herself had given her.
The two Valkyries lept at each other, meeting mid air, one determined to save their sister, the other determined to end her.
