Day 0023

September 3, 2011

Dear Diary,

I went to an orphanage of the Olives, it's a two hour drive from ours and is located by the mountains. There were a lot of kids, and guess what, they can all play scrabble!

There's this one kid named France and he was very competetive, he was one of tthe people who went bazooka when Julius announced his relationship with me. I played scrabble with the kids for the whole day, and Speaking of Julius friends, I suddenly became aquaintance with Matthew, he was this college guy whom I have not seen any similarity with Julius. He was wearing all black and he had worn black piercing and his eyeliner is spread all over his eye lids. Julius didn't thinking twice on talking to him, in fact they were sharing a friendly hug as they met. I was having double thoughts of talking to him, I was scared I guess but then it all changed when I heard him play the piano, like I have to admit my heart was beating fast and it was as if I was droved into another dimension.

It was almost midnight and Julius allowed the kids to stay late for one evening just to have a mini campfire on the open space area at the back of the orphanage. Scrabble tiles were scattered every where, the kids were reckless and laughing as they smores the marshmallow on stick on the fire. Matthew showed off his piano skills and everybody was singing along to what he was playing.

Julius reached his lips towards the edge of my ear as we listen to Matthew playing Fur Elise and said, "he's my official music buddy." I chuckled because the warmth coming from his mouth tickles my whole ear. Now I get it, the two has a similarity and that is through music. Julius brought his cello with him as he takes them off from the case, he asked Matthew to change the song to Winter Sonata by Mozart and the two agreed on blending the two instruments.

One word. FANTASTIC.

Julius reached for my right hand, his fingers crosses the empty spaces of mine and he held my hand tightly. My head was lying on his shoulder while my hair brushes to his skin.

"We could be like this always," Julius said. I nodded, of course I wanted us to be together, I look at the children who loves him, I bet everybody wants him to stay.

"Yeah, if only we won't have classes tomorrow," I replied.

     "Promise me something."

     "What is it?"

"That we'll take care of these kids lile our own," Julius says as he slowly looks at me. I blushed, it was hard not to.

I promised and he sealed it with a pinkie swear, our fingers crossed until the end of the song.
