Day 1713

Evening

"Dude, why am I here?" Simon complained, his eye brows met when he finally realized that when Bobby called him for a slumber that was meant to watch Les Miserables with him. Simon scooted over the corner of the couch as he saves a space for the bowl of popcorn between them, he grabbed a few and then it turns out he wants more.

"Dude, you're like the best movie anticipator I've ever known, tell me what's going on with the movie as I read this book," Bobby says as he flatters his friend.

"What's that you're reading?" Simon asks his friend but did not get a respond from him, Bobby's eyes were focused on the book he was holding. Out of curiosity, Simon was urged to moved forward and peek at what his friend was reading. Bobby gives Simon a stern look as he hands the book away from his eye.

     "Quit it dude!" Bobby says.

"What? What's inside that, I swear Bobby if you won't tell me what's inside there I will not watch this Les Miserables crap and get out of here."

     "What?"

"Tell me, why do you wanna watch Les Miserables?" Simon interrogated.

"Nothing, a friend of mine told me that it was good so I wanna check it out."

"Bullcrap Bobby, I'm the only friend you have in this world and I would be the least person to recommend you to watch musicals."

"What made you so sure of that?"

"I just freaking know!" Simon exclaimed, "does that have something to do with that chick from the mall?"

"Don't call her a chick Simon, she's something more than that."

"Well, were you inspired by her to watch that?" Simon interrogated, he started shouting and rapping his words, he sound hilarious.

     "What made you say that?"

"Well. The sparkle in your eyes I guess, when you saw her. And you seem not you. Do I have to mention all these cliche-"

     "Okay then!"

"Okay then what?" Simon asked. "Okay to leave or okay to what?"

     "Okay, I like her!"

     "Shit!" Simon chuckled.

"Yes," Bobby exclaimed, he covers his face with the book then eventually slapping his face slowly with the book. "I don't know why, I just met her yesterday but it felt like I've been in love with her for years."

"You're crazy Bobby," Simon says. "Is this the reason why you've come up with the Les Miserables thing?"

     Bobby nodded.

     "You're freaking creepy dude."

"But it's my way, it's my way of knowing her."

"More like giving a good impression to her."

"No! Yes, no. Maybe. Look. She has lost someone special to her, and it's been two years since her fiance died and -"

"and there's you who wants to save the day and rescue her from the past that she can't let go? Tell me Bobby, how can you help her move on by doing the things that could remind her of her past."

"You're right, but how am I supposed to make her like me. She barely likes me."

     "Call her?"
