You've been messaging Mason for just a little under a week now, and so far you've managed to keep it a secret, to your surprise seen as you discovered how terrible he is at keeping secrets. The band's single "Love (Sweet Love)" came out coming up to a month ago, meaning the listening party was, in fact, tomorrow. Your slouched on the sofa, in a black Nike jumper, grey shorts, and long white Nike socks. It's around 6 o'clock in the evening, and just in time for your daily call with Mason. You FaceTime him on your iPad, and he answers pretty much straight away, almost as if he had been awaiting your call. "Hey," he says smiling brightly. "Hi," you reply, giving him the same smile back. "I'm so tired." Yawning, he just manages to make his words audible, which provokes a slight giggle from you. He always starts the conversation with this, maybe because he has no idea how to otherwise, but you find it cute none the less. "I've got a question to ask you." You pipe up, a little nervously, as this would be the first time you would be seen in public together. "What's up?" He replies. "Tomorrow there's a listening party, for our song? I wondered if you wanted to come?" Nerves filled your stomach. "Taylor, are you sure? I mean this would be the first time we would be seen?" "It's okay, there's no paps, it's always held in a location that isn't shared with the public so that it's just family and it won't be spoiled." "So we won't get caught?" "I can almost promise you mason, nobody will find out." "Then I'll be there." He smiles. "Really?!" "Of course! Andre and Alex are going obviously for Perrie and Leigh-Anne, so I won't be entirely by myself-" "Mason, I asked you to come so you could stay with me.." "I know! But just incase.." You found it cute he had backup plan for everything. "I have to go, it's getting late and I have training early tomorrow, what time does the party start?" "6:30, so we need to be there for 5:30. Oh, and I'm wearing a light blue dress, just so you know what colour tie to wear." "So confident, I love it." You blush. "See you later," you giggle as he hangs up. Butterflies erupt in your stomach, as you let out a slight squeal of joy. Not long after you lock up, you tuck yourself up into bed ready for tomorrow. The next morning, you wake up at nearly lunch time, and after a late brunch, your hair and makeup team arrive to help you get ready. Loose bouncy curls are styled into a volumised side part in, while your makeup is a light silver cut crease, and a nude lip. This takes about 4 hours, before your driven to the location. When you get there it's about 5 o'clock, which means your right on time. Tables are set out, and the live stream is ready to go. Even though the live stream would only show the projector screen in order to not give away the location, you and still thought it would be nice for the fans to be able to contribute. Taxi's begin to pull up, revealing Andre and Alex, even Jade's new boyfriend Jordan, yet Mason was nowhere to be seen. "You told him 5:30 right?" Perrie asks, greeting Alex with a soft kiss on the cheek. "Yeah," you reply, a little disheartened that Mason hasn't shown up. "Girls, your needed behind screen!" Helen shouts. Perrie, Leigh and Jade go ahead. "Keep an eye out, please," you say to Alex, desperate that Mason will arrive. "Of course, Taylor." He replies, a huge smile crossing his face. You return the smile, and then head behind the screen. "Okay ladies, time to shine, take your seats at your tables, and await my further instructions." Pushing Mason out of your head, you walk, along with the other girls, around the side of the screen. Well that lasted long. There he was in all his glory, ten minutes late but, he came. His white shirt tucked neatly into his trousers, finished with a light blue tie just as you had wished. Catching your eye, you make your way over to one another, before he pulls you into a warm embrace. "I was beginning to think you weren't gonna show," you say, pulling away, yet his hands still remained on your waist. "I wouldn't miss it." He smiles, "I'm so sorry I'm late I didn't leave early enough and there's so much traffic-" "No one saw you pull in, right?" You cut him off. "No." He replies. "Then that's all that matters." You lead him to your table where your family are sat, and introduce him. "Guys, this is Mason, Mason this is my mum, dad, older brother Alex, not to be confused with Perrie's boyfriend Alex, and my two sisters Demi and Hannah. Not long after the greeting the livestream begins and the music video plays on the projector. Drinks are served and the night goes exactly to plan. At eleven, your family had left and so have the other girls', there's only you, perrie, jade and Leigh left along with your partners. You say goodbye to the other girls, leaving you walking Mason back to his car. "Nice vid," he says, smoothly placing his arm around your shoulders. "Thanks, mase," you reply, giggling. "Mase, I like that." He giggles back, causing you to blush. "I'm sure you've been called mase before." "Yeah, but not by you, so, it makes a difference." "This your car?" "Yeah it is, how are you getting home?" "I'm gonna call an Uber." "Now? Your gonna be waiting like twenty minutes!" "Yeah..." "I'll take you home." "Really?" "Of course." You jump into his car and he begins to drive. God he looks so hot, driving with one hand on the wheel, reversing with his hand on the back of your chair. He pulls up to your flat complex, and before you leave he pulls back your arm. "Everything alright?" You ask, you'd already thanked him a bunch, whatever could he want? "You looked gorgeous tonight." He smiles, blushing a little. You pulled him in by his tie, about to kiss him, before realising you were no longer in the secret location. You pull away, leaving mason clearly upset. "Why'd you pull away?" He asks. "There's bound to be someone watching, your just gonna have to wait Mr Mount. You wink at him, forcing out that beautiful smile of his, before closing his car door, and heading to your flat.
