It had been a rough day. Today the news had broke out that Little Mix were taking a break next year. You know its for the best, two of your bandmates had babies now, and you were all becoming older. Even though you are the youngest in the group, you understand that the other girls are making a new family, and need time to spend with them. However just because you understood, didn't mean you weren't allowed to be upset, which you currently were.
Mason could tell the impact the news had on you stung, and made himself accountable to comforting you and making you feel better. Sprinkling the marshmallows on top of what he would call "The Mount Special" he carries the two hot chocolates to where you lay on the sofa, looking defeated. "Here you go," he slumps down next to you, passing you the scolding mug and pressing play on the TV. Watching Game of Thrones with Mason could easily be described as tradition, more monthly than annually, but watching how happy it made him made you all warm and fuzzy inside.
Once you finish your hot chocolate, you snuggle into Mason, craving attention from him. "Aww, Tay," planting a loss on your forehead, he attempts to comfort you, but as a tear rolls down your cheek it becomes clear a kiss on the head wasnt going to be enough. Pausing the movie, he pulls you up, resting your head on his shoulder. "Hey, hey...don't cry!" He says, stoking your cheek with his thumb, his free hand resting on the crown of your head. "I'm just gonna miss it..." you sniffle a reply, calming down as Mason soothes you. "I know, but, they're still your friends, and it's only a break, you'll come back, it's not the end." He says, softly. "Thank you Mason," you say, wiping your eyes and smiling in return. "Don't be silly, it's the least i could do." Snuggling back into him you finished the movie.
Once Game of Thrones had finished, you duh put your Little Mix keep-sake box to show Mason. "This is the photo when we won the XFactor," you say, the smile on his face genuine, gleaming with pride over your achievement. "This is our first BRIT for Best Single Of The Year for "Shout out to my Ex." He ran his fingers over the gold plaque at the bottom of the award in awe. "What's that?" he asked, pointing to an old looking DVD. "I don't know," you said opening it and placing it in the DVD player. The film looked like it had been recorded on an old cam corder, and as the shot continued it became evident that this was a tour diary. "Oh my God, our first tour..." The film didn't last long, showing various behind the scenes clips of you and the girls.
Later on, you get ready for bed and climb in with Mase. "I'm proud of you Tay, you've dealt with this so well." He says, pulling you into a hug." "Thank you." You reply with a gentle kiss. "I know it's not easy, and I understand how hard it is for you at the moment, but you'll get through it." He's right, and you know it. He always is. Thats was made you fall. "I know. Even if we go on different paths, we will still meet at the end." You say, resting your head against the side of his face. "Of course you will."
