How You Meet

Eren:

- You were picked up in the Underground by Erwin because you were causing trouble for the scouts and they just tossed you into training just so they could keep you in check and monitor you.

- You were of course really pissed to be there so you didn't really talk to anyone and no one talked to you except for Eren.

- He was borderline fascinated with your life and what the Underground was like as well as what you were like since you gave off a really dangerous aura which is why people feared you.

- He never actually talked to you the first week you were there, he just observed you from afar and then he finally made his move when he managed to get enough courage to do so.

- He walked up to you right after sparring practice and did his best to start a conversation with you despite his nervousness because of your poor bruised sparring buddy who can barely stand up at this point.

- "Hey you're Y/N right? Man, you really beat the crap out of him we're just sparring you know? Who taught you how to fight like that? Hell, why are you fighting like that? We're not going to hurt you."

- You don't give him an answer and just roll your eyes as you begin walking away but he follows you while still trying to keep up a conversation despite how cold you are.

- "H-Hey come on it's almost time to eat and they'll take away more portions of your food if you're late again. Where are you going anyway?"

- "Nowhere that concerns you. I'm just going to tell you this now, I don't like people and people don't like me so stop following me before I snap your leg."

- "Wow... You're really intense. It doesn't matter if I keep following you or not that's not going to change the fact that if you're late again your food will be cut so why don't you just come sit with us today instead of moping around by yourself."

- You're tempted to hit him really you are but you don't want to deal with the repercussions of that especially since you're constantly being monitored anyway... and you are hungry.

- "Come on it'll do you some good to actually socialize instead of scaring everybody off. Plus, you need food to survive. There's got to be a reason you joined right. You need to have the energy to fulfill that reason without collapsing-"

- "Fine I'll go just stop pestering me."

- "Great! Come on if we run we'll probably make it back in time. Oh by the way just in case you didn't know I'm Eren. It's nice to meet you!"

- You shake his hand, mildly freaked out by his smile, and he keeps a tight hold on it as he sprints to the mess hall with you in tow, keeping up easily.

- You didn't really talk to anyone but his friends did try to make you feel welcome and at least you did get your food since you were borderline starving at this point.

Armin:

- You're a complete and total bookworm through and through so you have no idea how you wound up in the training corps because the last thing you remember was going to sleep in your own bed.
