He Asks You Out

Eren:

- He had been debating over and over and his head about how exactly he was gonna ask you out and whether or not he should do something really special.

- It took a lot of consideration and planning and a lot of help from his friends who were ready to never talk to him again after everything was finally set up and ready to surprise you.

- He asked you in the morning if you could show up at the mess hall after training and the plan was to have everything completely ready before you got there but unfortunately he was running late because Shadis decided it would be a perfect day to work him to the bone.

- He was acting a bit suspicious and you were worried that something was wrong or that he was finally done with you but you weren't expecting to see a bunch of roses covering the mess hall when you opened the door.

- You spotted him immediately and he was running around the room still trying to make everything perfect not even realizing that you're standing in the doorway staring at him.

- You're not stupid and it was easy for you to figure out what was going on and you could tell that he was probably going to have a hard time asking you out so you did it for him.

- "You know that you didn't have to do all this to get me to go out with you right? All you really had to do was ask I'm going to accept either way so you didn't have to put yourself through all this just to get me to go out with you."

- He jumped a bit when he finally realized you were there and he didn't even realize that you said you would go out with him because he was still so focused on the surprise so he ended up trying to get you to leave and come back so he could make it perfect.

- "You scared the crap out of me!.. Hey, can you go back outside for a second? I just need to finish this up and then it'll be the perfect surprise for you! Wait a second...Did you say you'd go out with me or am I running on so much adrenaline that I'm hearing things?"

- "No you aren't hearing things, I would love to go out with you Eren. Also, you might want to sit down because when that adrenaline rush runs out exhaustion will probably hit you like a brick."

- His face lights up when you say you'll go out with him and he very quickly makes his way over to you to hug you while nearly tripping over himself.

- You appreciate the roses and the big gesture but you don't want him to go through all of this stress just for you especially because the both of you are going to have to clean this up before Shadis gets here.

- You don't even know where he managed to find all of these roses and you have no idea where you're going to put them but all you do know is that you want to keep them for as long as you can.

- You didn't miss the smile that stayed on his face as he helped you collect the roses and a smile never left his face until the week after.

- He's just so happy he got to ask you out even if he didn't do it in the best way but he was so completely overjoyed that you actually wanted to go out with him.

- He couldn't really process the fact that you did feel the same about him so he was just so excited to start planning the actual date he wanted to take you on.
