Hello! I went back to school recently so I definitely won't be posting a chapter every day, but I'll try to every third or fourth day. I'll try to do one on weekends, and one or two during the week, but no promises. Now onto the chapter!

Whale stared up at Snowstorm in shock. Why was she in the Kingdom of sea? "Wh-" he started, but Snowstorm suddenly clasped her talons around his snout and yanked him behind a huge oak tree, searching the sky. He noticed she whisked something behind the tree with her tail  but couldn't see what it was.

A pair of SeaWings, one green and the other sapphire blue landed on the beach and started talking to each other loudly, and Whale prayed that they didn't see his pile of shells. They sat down, and Snowstorm pulled something out of the soft leather pouch around her neck and raised it to her mouth as carefully and quietly as she could. There was a two soft whistling sounds and two little thunks and the two SeaWings dropped to the sand, breathing gently. "Sleeping darts," Snowstorm explained, then she unfurled her tail from the objects it was curled around.

Lying in front of Whale was two perfectly smooth eggs, one navy blue with flecks of white, and the other was indigo with swirls of pale icy blue. Whale gasped in realization. These eggs were his. "When did you have them? When are they hatching? Why are you here?!" He asked. "I had them a month ago, and they're hatching in another month. I'm here because I've wanted to see you again ever since the party, but I haven't had a excuse to come to the Kingdom of Sea. Two days ago Radiance wanted a spy to go to the Kingdom of Sea to gather information possibly to murder someone in the royal SeaWing family. I saw my chance and offered to go, and after an hour of me convincing my mother, she finally and reluctantly agreed. I flew all day yesterday, and I came over to this island when I saw you. " Snowstorm finished, and then embraced him in a hug.

"I've missed you so much!" she  exclaimed, nuzzling her snout into his neck affectionately. Whale smiled but then his grin drooped. "But we can't be together. We'd be banished from our Kingdoms, its even more frowned upon now, when the IceWings and SeaWings are rivals," he said, casting a longing glance at his eggs, which he knew would soon hatch into two perfect dragonets. He sighed, and twined his tail around Snowstorm's sadly.

"No," Snowstorm said with a determined look on her face. "If we fix this, if we find the murderer and let Dolphin and Radiance take care of them, then maybe they'd forgive us. Maybe we could be happy together," "But how?" Whale argued, looking into her sharp frosty blue eyes. Snowstorm trailed off, mumbling.

"Ah! Sorry! Before I went on this mission, my mother and her spies told me everything they knew about the SeaWing royal family. Mother knew a lot, because her and Dolphin were good friends when they were both just princesses. And she told me..." she hesitated, fiddling with her claws. "She told me something about your family." Whale gasped, but Snowstorm continued on.

"She said that once there was a SeaWing princess that fell in love with a charming, kind NightWing-SeaWing hybrid called Comet. They could never be together, so they kept their relationship a secret. One day the SeaWing princess said that she was with egg, and Comet was devastated because he knew that they couldn't be together in secret anymore. She then had the egg, and Comet died protecting it from his own tribe, because they wanted to kill his son, still unhatched. The SeaWing princess knew that the SeaWings would be horrified if they knew she had tainted the royal bloodline with NightWing blood. So she pretended she found the egg on the palace doorstep, and never told the dragonet that hatched from the egg that she was their mother." Whale stepped back with realisation as his head started to swim with confusion. "Whale, Queen Dolphin is your mother."
