Whale stared at Snowstorm in utter shock. She was expecting dragonets. His dragonets. He was going to be a dad. Whale gaped his mouth open and closed, trying to find the right words to put in his mouth, but finally just blurted "That's amazing!" "I know! I thought you might not want them but you do so that's great! I think there's more than one egg but I don't know," she said, jumping up and down with excitement. "When are you having them?" Whale asked. "In about a week. I can't wait! We're going to be parents! And it's not forbidden!" Snowstorm's smiled even more, if that was possible.Snowstorm leaned into Whale's wings and they embraced each other, happier than they had ever been.

Suddenly Whale caught a glimpse of sea-green scales and the flash of a knife's blade, heading through the shadows towards the IceWings. "Watch out!" He screeched, but it was too late. The cloacked green dragon leapt out of the shadows and drew his knife swiftly across the King's throat, causing dark blue blood to spurt out of his neck. Freeze dropped to the floor with a bone chilling thud. The entire party turned towards the pale blue body lying in a puddle of dark blue blood with a gasp.

Prince Blizzard roared in anger and leapt at the murderer, snarling. The attacker spun around and suddenly silver chakrams flew elegantly from their talons, hitting Blizzard at the base of his neck. He dropped to the floor, gasping for his last breaths. Two royal guards and the Queen's sister, Starfish, charged at the murderer, causing the SeaWing to grab a stone bowl of shrimp and clock her across the head with it. The stone bowl made a cracking sound as it split in half, and so did Starfish's head. The green dragon ignored the guards and swiftly slipped into the shadows, leaving the IceWing's King and Prince dead.
