The Final Phase

"So how much you get this one?" I asked staring at the phone which probably worth more than my life savings.

She only threw me a grin.

"It is not that much... Nothing to worry your pretty head about " she says tapping the side of her head.

I sigh gently putting the phone on the small cute dresser she got, claiming we can both share even though I had turned down her offer.

Holiday ended last week Friday, lectures for second semester started on Monday, I resumed on Sunday, Kitan got back Wednesday... Which happen to be today...

She brought loads and loads of new stuffs for herself and even for me. One of the latest thing she showed off to me was her new iPhone 11 pro max, not UK used o..

Why is everyone around me using iPhone bayii? and am still stuck on my Itel.

"Kitan...! Rora se o. This phone is expensive, how did you get the money? Do your parents know about the extravagant lifestyle you live here on campus? "

She snorts waving me off. Taking the phone from my hand.

"Oh please.. Stop with your holier than thou attitude. I just used what I have to get what I want" she shrugs sorting out the new clothes she got me.

"Am not wearing that" I glared at the flimsy excuse of a thing she called a dress.

"Oh you will" she said with a smirk dancing on her lips. I huff going back to my part of the room, taking a sit on my bed as I watch her from afar.

That was when I remembered that I had to meet up with one of my course mates to collect a material I asked for on Monday.

I quickly stood up which caught Kitan's attention, I put on my flip-flops, grabbing my phone.

"Where are you going?"

"I need to meet up with one of my course mate, he would be outside right now"

"Hold on.. Am coming with you" she said leaving what she was doing, I stare at her with raised eyebrows. "I also need to meet up with one of my guys"

My mouth formed an 'O'.

We left our room, locking the door. I called the guy asking him to come meet me in front of my hostel which he willingly oblige.

I roll my eyes as Kitan links her arm with mine. Anyone seeing us will think we are best of friends. She will say one or two things about a situation while i listen halfheartedly... She will glare at a particular female once in a while. She has a lot of enemies.

We spent a lot of time with the porters before coming out of the building only because Kitan is really familiar with them.

Once we got out, we went our separate ways as I went ahead to look for the guy. Ten minutes later, the guy arrived with the course materials.

I thank him promising to be through with it as soon as possible. We talked for a while before bidding each other farewell.

With the books in my arms I walk back to the hostel. On my way I spotted Kitan immediately with the guy am sure she was talking about.

Has I moved closer the guy looked up as Kitan turn to look at me. I basically froze...

It is the Bella Shmurda guy... What was is name? Solace warned me about him.  I can't remember.

"Feyi love.. Come over" I practically groaned at Kitan's enthusiasm. I skeptically walk towards them as they didn't look away from me. "let me introduce you to someone"
