"Diana what did you do!?" Tony had run up to her as he grabbed her shoulders and shook her. Tears rolling down her eyes, she squeezed them shut as he continued to yell at her.
"Tony stop!" Steve pulled Tony away as Loki ran up to grab Diana.
"You do not get to make those kind of choices!" Tony yelled as he visibly shook from how angry he was getting.
"What did you want me to do Tony?! Let him die?!" Diana screamed back at him with her fists clenched at her side.

"Half the people are gone Diana! I don't think you're grasping the situation here!"
"I am! You're saying I should of let Thanos kill him and HOPE that we could of stopped him but in reality none of us could have stopped him because we weren't ready!"
"What we? There's no we Diana, you are not part of this team because no one would of been STUPID enough to make that kind of decision that affected half the world!"
Before Diana could reply, her mouth snapped shut. She bit her bottom lip as she nodded her head.
"The only stupid thing I did was come and help you out in the first place."
Diana pulled away from Loki's arms as she stormed away.
Diana kept wiping the tears from her eyes as she climbed out of the dark hole that once was the Avengers Compound and began to follow the road back to the city.
"Diana stop!"
She turned around to see Steve behind her trying to catch up.
"You can't go walking home barefoot."
"If you hadn't noticed, everything back there is blown to hell. Especially the gratitude for my help."
"Look, just look," Steve grabbed her arms as he stopped her from walking.
"Steve I don't want a lecture from you too. I know I made a selfish decision."
" I don't want to talk about that either, I don't think I would of been able to give someone up either. But Tony lost the kid and that's why he's upset. We will find a way to bring them all back. But I know we will need your help in doing so."
Diana gave a small smile as she began to sob, Steve hugged her as Diana began to cry on his shoulder.
He had finally convinced her to go back. Once they did most of the team had gathered for a head count.
Scott, Thor, Tony, Bruce, Loki, Steve, Okoye, Rocket, Natasha, and Clint. Tony sat on the ground as he shook his head.
"We are not going to be able to get anything done here. Let's go do some damage control and go home."
"Where is our home? This was the only home that most of us knew," Nat said with watery eyes.
"You can all come back to my apartment building. There are empty rooms available on my floor and the Owner is a good friend of mine," Diana offered up.
Before Tony could say anything, Steve spoke up.
"We don't have much of a choice. Better to go somewhere safe that we know to make a plan."
Everyone began to gather what little they could as they waited for Tony's company cars to pick them up.
Diana got into a car by herself with Loki, no one else wanted to get into the car with him.
"You should of just let me go," Loki said quietly under his breath.

"Don't you dare say that! How can you say that?! After EVERYTHING we have been through, you would be so willing to give up on yourself like that?!"
"What do you care? We were just having fun remember?"
"You do not get to do that Loki. You do not get to play the victim after you played with my heart and emotions. You broke me first. And here I am STILL trying to save you ."
"Well who asked you to," Loki said coldly as Diana scoffed and let out a cruel laugh.
"Because I love you." She threw her hands up as she licked her bottom lip, letting her hands fall to her sides as she shook her head.
Loki's eyes searched hers, but she couldn't make eye contact with him.
"Diana...."
"It's fine Loki. I don't need your words or your validation. Just shut up and listen. At one point when we were in the castle I fell in love with you. Your caring nature, your smile, the way you made me feel like I carried the air you breathe. You were my moon and I thought to be your sun. But you snuffed me out the first chance you got. And here I am again, literally risking everything for you!"
There were tears rolling down Diana's face as her chest heaved in and out. Wiping the tears away with the back of her hand she turned her body away from Loki.

Feeling her tight fist hit his chest, he continued holding onto her as he kissed her passionately. His arm wrapped tight around her body so she wasn't able to move away from him. His other hand gripping her hair as he pulled her in close.
"Diana, I love you too." Loki said against her lips. He felt a sob escape Diana's throat as he pulled away from her.
"Loki I love you, but I don't know if it is enough anymore. "
"Diana I can be better."
"So be better Loki. Because we are going to need it if we are going to save the others. Prove to me you are the man I know you can be."
"Diana I can't do this without you," Loki said quietly
"That doesn't sound like the God of Mischief."
"Diana...."
"Show me, that you deserved this second chance and do things right."
Loki nodded his head as he and Diana stepped out of the car and walked into Diana's apartment building.
