'Which is the true nightmare, the horrific dream that you have in your sleep or the dissatisfied reality that awaits you when you awake?'

-Justin Alcala

"

"What is going on" my dad said.
I found myself on bed.
"Dad she is there...she is..." I said and ran towards the kitchen. I saw dad coming right behind me.
I saw there was no one in the kitchen. I looked here and there. I heard my dad again and again asking "What is going on beta" but I didn't respond but just kept looking every part of the kitchen.

"Dad she was here...standing right here" I said showing how she was about to attack me. I was shivering.

"No one is there son...no one" he said and hugged me. I hugged him but the fear in me was not able to end. I was still seeing her in my mind. That little sentence said by Grandpa made me this mad. If he said the whole story my eyes wouldn't close at night.

The next day when we walked again, I saw the house but this time it felt different. It didn't felt like it always did it didn't feel like a normal house to me anymore.

"Beta...if you keep looking there then you will dash something and fall, look straight while walking" Grandpa said.

I nodded but I was still looking at the house. Suddenly I saw someone just looking at me. Yes it was the same women she was looking at me from the window.

"Grandpa save me...she will kill me" I said.

"What happened beta?" He said.

I pointed towards the window where I was able to see the women staring at me.

"Beta" Grandpa said and shaked me.

I looked at him and again turned towards the window there was no one.

"It was my mistake I shouldn't have told you all that" Grandpa said. We finally passed the haunted house.

I kept walking with him.

The birds were humming the winds were making noise.

We saw a man having a big orange thika on his head he was just wearing a small orange cloth on body and a dhoti. In this cold we were not even able to get out of sweater and this man is in his small cloth. I saw he had a Jug of golden color.

"Jai Ram Baba...jai Ram baba" Grandpa said and folded his hand in front of him.

"Why are you joining your hand in front of him...is his God?" I said.

"Aee..keep quiet" Grandpa said. Still his hand folded.

"Sorry, his is my grandson...just unkown to the outer world" Grandpa said.

The Baba nodded.

"Any reason why you are here Baba?" Grandpa asked.

"Your son called me. He said to do puja on his son he feels some ghost has possessed him" he said. He deep voice scared me more.

"No Baba he is just getting the feeling that the Ghost is looking or staring at him no he is not possessed"

"Beacuse of that girl we are facing this problems...her soul needs peace"

"But how will she find peace?"

"If her last wish is completed then...and we don't know her last wish" Baba said.

"You are antaryami...you will get it baba" Grandpa said.

"But she is someone who I can't study, she is different, if she doesn't find peace many more people will be killed by her nightmares"

"How her husband died?"

"That is the mystery this science world had said he died due to heart attack but I know he was killed by her wife"

I saw the time it was already 7:30 PM. I said Grandpa to leave for house but he was somewhat mad about Baba.

"Grandpa I am going home" I said.

He just nodded and kept listening to the Baba and his over the top talks. I turned back and started walking back to home again. I heard the bats screaming or speaking. Their voice feels likes they are screaming on us. I kept walking I didn't saw the stone on my way and I fell right in front of the house. The same haunted house. I got up and was wiping the dust on my shirt and pant.

"Ajeet....you can't escape" someone whispered. I recognized the voice it was the same which I heard yesterday. I turned slowly I saw her standing right there behind the woods. I ran towards the house in fear. The door closed automatically when I came back to senses I got to know my mistake. I tried to open the door but the door didn't open. I again heard the same voice.

"Ajeet...Ajeet" I didn't pay attention.

Instead I screamed "Save me..." No one listened me a bit. I took some minutes to just calm and then I looked around the house it was the same as I expected *UNTIDY* the dirt on the floor smelled so bad that I had a sensation of vomiting but I controlled myself. I put my hand on nose and slowly walked I saw a big photo hanging on the wall. It was of a couple, there was a man with a thick mostache and pagdi on his head and he was smiling and then there was a girl with green eyes wearing a cap and a white dress who had placed her head on her husband's shoulder. The couple really looked beautiful. There were two stairs on two sides and in middle was a broken dinning table which still had some blood spits I think. I chose to walk from the left side staircase. As I walked a step there was a CREEK noise coming. I was now able to see the photo clearly. There was a bedroom at the left side and another two rooms on right.

The door of the bedroom slowly opened. My eyes were wide open my heart was beating really fast, Why I was doing such shit? I should just run from here I thought but I was not able to go I just wanted to end my curiosity but I had a fear that if I end up my life in this all. I peaked slowly into the bedroom. It was dark. I think it was already 8 PM, I took the risk to go in there was a swing inside which I never expected to be there. Who keeps a swing inside a bed room? I went near the bed and due to the darkness I accidentally dashed the bed. A lizard fell down who was I think running on the bed. That shit scared me. I ran out of the bedroom but the door slammed on my face. This was getting really scary now. I turned back the swing started moving. I heard some one singing really quietly. I screamed out loud and I closed my eyes as I again opened it the swing and the singing had stopped. But I found a letter lying down. I picked it up but due to the darkness I was not able to read it.

Bang!Bang!Bang!

I jumped off and ran towards the entrance. My father opened the door with Grandpa and my mother was also present.
My mother hugged me. My dad wiped his sweat. Grandpa had the concern look.

"Are you mad Ajeet? Have you lost your brain?" Dad shouted.

"Stop shouting on my son" Mom said. "Are you okay beta?"

I nodded. I just wanted to read that letter but it was too late. I just could not go and take the letter back....
