Chapter 5

Day 10

Riley's POV

It has been 4 days since Dustin came out and I was so proud of him. That same day he announced it to the fans during our set. He even posted it through all of his social medias. The best part was that Mason was allowed to stay on our bus throughout the entire tour. Every morning, Mason makes me coffee and gets my "order" correct everytime. He is like a guardian angel. I'm glad that Mason makes Dustin happy.

        It was only 6:30 in the morning and today was an off day, so Kevin made reservations for a hotel. Last night, Jordan wanted to hang out today so I instantly texted Tay. She freaked out and came to my room once we got to the hotel. She insisted that it was a date and picked out my whole outfit. Every since Jordan stayed on the bus with me that night, everyone thinks that we would be the cutest couple in the entire universe. Which is a damn lie. Nobody understand my side though. I really want to be more than friends with Jordan, but it is Warped. What will happen after Warped Tour?  I don't wanna build a relationship then have to tear it down soon after. My phone started to vibrate on the bed side table. I looked at the bright screen and Tay's name poped up.

"Hey, what's up?", it was quite in the background.

"Get your ass up and get ready. Then come to my room", before I was able to respond Tay hung up. I got up quietly so I wouldn't wake Dustin and Mason. I tiptoed to my bag and grabbed the basic essentials and walked slowly towards the hotel bathroom. I took a quick shower and brushed my teeth. I changed into the shorts and tank top that Tay picked out for me. I opened the door and threw all the stuff back into my bag. I grabbed my phone off the charger and grabbed my wallet from the little desk in the room. Tay's room was just around the corner, so it didn't take too long to find it. Right when, I tried and knocked on the door, it flung open and Tay was on the other side. Rob and Cameron were in the room too. Cameron was sleeping and Rob was sitting at the desk in the corner watching some video on his laptop.

"So why did you want me to come to your room?", I hopped on the bed and jumped back and forth. I might have waken Cameron, but he was still trying to sleep.

"I don't know", I kept jumping between the two beds. Cameron grabbed the pillow next to him and put it on his head. I finally stopped once It was too hard to breathe.

There was a small rhytmic knock at the door. Tay checked the clock and ran to go open it. Jordan was wearing a pair of shorts and a black and white flannel. Today he wasn't wearing one of his snapbacks.

"RILEY, JORDAN IS HERE!" I grabbed my wallet and phone.

"Tay I'm right  here you don't have to scream", I smiled at Jordan and stood next to Tay.

"I have to make it known that you two are going on your first date together".

"Whatever you say", I looked up at Jordan.

"Okay well I'll let you too get to it", Tay pushed me out and closed the door behind me.

Jordan and I started walking towards the elevators.

"I can't believe Tay set us up", Jordan ran his hands through his hair.

"Me either", I laughed and pressed the button.

The elevator doors opened instantly and we walked inside. The ride down was silent and the distant sound of Journey's 'Don't Stop Believin'' was playing. When we got to the lobby, Mike and John from the Maine, were carrying a bunch of food in their hands.

"Hello Riley and Jordan", Mike walked inside of the elevator.

"Bye Riley and Jordan", John walked in after Mike and pressed the button with his elbow.
