(pretend covid is really rare to get and mask are still required until it's fully gone)

"okay class, today we are going to be doing something fun and different!, the girls will have to partner up with a guy and they will have to do their make-up!" the teacher told the class while everyone else got excited.
"imma pick you f/n!" i told f/n before him giving me an eyeroll as he usually does.
"oh yeah i will pick your partners by the way!" the teacher called out before all of us began to wine.

while the teacher was calling out the names for people to work with i wondered who my partner would be.

"and that leads us to the last 2!, y/n with c/n!" Ms. t/n called out.

i got surprised.

i looked over to see him while i caught him already staring at me.

'this is gonna be awesome', i thought sarcastically.

"okay the boys may take off their mask while the girls put on make-up. just be careful of the distance!" the teacher told us.

i began starting on his makeup, a few minutes later and im onto the eyes.

"okay close your eyes"

as he closes them i stare at him with the makeup on to see which would match his skin color and which would look better on him since i HAD to win this contest.

"hmm, okay open" i demanded.
he opens his eyes to find me staring at his e/c eyes.

squinting my eyes, i thought and thought and thought since i'm not the only who is good with make-up.

"hmm, it needs a little something. alright close your eyes back!"

"but i don't wanna close my eyes" he said.

"why not?"

"because i rather be looking at you"

i had a small smile under my mask, but lucky he couldn't see.

"okay fr close them" i said while laughing a bit.

"okay okay, but make sure to make me look pretty" he demanded.

"with or without i think you look pretty enough" was the last thing i said before we won the contest.
