The Heroes were stunned. Not because their broccoli boy is a saint—they already knew that—but rather because they had just watched him diss the number two hero (now number one) and admit to wanting to help the very people who tried time and time again to kill him, then threaten the younger Todoroki with love and affection like it was completely normal, and finally comfort a socially rejected teenager.

However, he was not done, and the video again appeared.

Midoriya was walking down the street on his phone like a normal person. Not so normal, the boy wasn't even paying attention as he easily maneuvered around different people and kept out of the way, even while being directly in the middle of the crowd.

He entered a store, took out a list, grabbed a basket, and quickly moved about to get what was on it—nothing more.

"Damn, the listener has more self-restraint than me." Hizashi joked as he passed the candy aisle without so much as a glance.

"Tell me about it." Midnight agreed.

He turned into the medical aisle, going through different supplies and occasionally glancing at the labels. However, he was stopped by the sound of a woman seemingly yelling at her son.

"Would you drop it! There is no way in hell that they will ever let you! And even if they did, you'd just be wasting a spot that could be used for someone else!" She yelled, waving her finger in his face.

"It's online schooling, Mom. I wouldn't be taking up someone else's spot; that's not how it works." The teenage boy spoke back. He was a little older than Midoriya seemed to be at the time.

"Don't sass me; no one would ever see you anyway! It would be a waste of your life and my money!" She continued.

Midoriya looked like he wanted to intervene, but it wasn't his place, so he returned to what he was doing. However, a gasp was heard not two seconds later, and the woman grabbed his arm, dragging him over to her son.

"You! You're a student at UA, right! I saw you at the sports festival!"

He ducked down slightly, unprepared for the sudden attention, "A-ah y-yes. I am. I-Is everything alright?"

"No!" She practically shouted in his ear. "But maybe this brat will listen to you instead!"

She turned to the boy, who curled in on himself, "Well, go on, explain yourself!"

"I-I uh...um...I want to go to school to be a doctor. I've passed all my classes, taken any extra courses I needed for the credits, and could graduate high school early."

"Really, that's incredible!" Midoriya urged, but the kid just curled in on himself more.

His mother glared at him as he kept going, "B-but I d-don't have the money, and s-so I asked my m-mom who told me-"

"I told him no way in hell!" She barked out, startling both boys, "You want to know why because that boy is quirkless! In this society, he is lower than the dirt itself! No way any hospital would ever give him a job! Tell him it's a foolish dream and get this over with!"

"Why?" Midoriya asked.

She sputtered, "What do you mean why?! He's quirkless!"

"So? All you've told me is that your son was so intelligent that he could pass high school early, find a medical school, and do it all without any quirk to help him! That's pretty amazing to me!"

"Ya, but the mom's right," Endeavor said, earning himself a warning glare from Eraserhead, Present Mic, and Fatgum. He scoffed. It wasn't that the hero was trying to be quirkiest; it was just that he knew most people would rather not have their doctor quirkless. Actually, most people would rather quirkless people didn't exist. It was harsh, but it was true.

"I'm just saying," He continued, trying to get them to understand what he meant, "no place would want to hire a quirkless kid. Who would you prefer to heal you, someone who didn't have a quirk or someone who had a quirk to aid them in their practice?"

"Whichever one has the most experience." Midnight spoke up, stopping the others from practically killing him.

"I would," Nezu spoke up at the same time.

The others turned to him, "You would what?" Ectoplasm asked.

"I would hire him." AllMight stared at him while the others looked rather smug. The recovery girl simply nodded. "He is knowledgeable, plus he's a kind enough person to work with children. He'd be a wonderful addition to the staff."

No one else could comment as the clip continued.

"Did you not hear what I said, HE'S QUIRKLESS!"

Midoriya scowled, turning to the mother. " Yes, I heard you. Do you mean to tell me you are so small-minded as to believe someone without a quirk is worthless? Last I checked, that was quirk discrimination."

The woman rushed to defend herself, "I-I would never! But others would! I'm only trying to protect him!"

He gave the woman a look. Furious, she stalked out of the store. He hummed, then turned to the boy while digging a piece of paper out of the bag. He wrote on it and then handed it to him. "Here's your chance. Give that number a call when you get an opportunity. If he takes interest in you, you won't have to worry about money for college. If not, call the second one; that one's mine and we'll go from there."

The boy stared at him in shock, earning a small chuckle from Midoriya.

"Try not to let her see them; I don't think she'd be very encouraging, " he said, patting the other on the shoulder. "What's your name?"

"I-I uh, Sawamura Chikao! Thank you!"

"I'll see you around. Nice to meet you, Sawamura."

Grabbing his stuff, he headed over to the cashier to pay. When he left, the boy was still standing there in shock. He quickly hid the card before turning to leave, his purpose in the store forgotten. A smile grew on Chikao's face, pure joy, as tears fell from his eyes before the screen faded to black.

Many of the heroes had smiles on their faces. For others, you could feel the pride radiating off them.

Snipe said, "I wonder who the first number was."

Nezu chuckled but didn't say anything.

"I'm glad the kid isn't quirkiest, but I'm surprised by how easily he overlooked the fact, considering what people teach kids nowadays." Fat Gum spoke up, Mirko nodding from her place before him.

"Well, he is certainly different." Endeavor spoke up. He didn't like the brat, especially after what he said about him, but there was no denying the fact. Besides, His second oldest was quirkless, so he knew firsthand how badly they were treated. It's why he knew that a regular hospital wouldn't hire him. Connections, though, are everything. The young hero may have given the boy his only chance at a career.

The others nodded as the glass returned to normal, and Midoriya slowly returned to the floor.
