Stain was rather...fascinated watching these.
For starters, the only other person he had deemed worthy enough the kill him, other than All Might, had a far more startling past than he would have presumed. However, he was also confused. He was so sure that All Might was the perfect hero. That he was the only good one left.
But based off of what he's listened to so far about the man, he's unsure of whether or not he can still think that. After all, what hero saves a child from almost dying and doesn't bother checking to see if their okay. Who crushes someone's dreams without knowing anything about them?
He wasn't even a hero, just a vigilante. One who, by the way, focused more on killing the poisoned heroes than rescuing the endangered civilians. Yet, he's had a few instances in his career of vigilantism where he's saved people, and even he made sure they were okay before leaving. And if not, he at least had the sense to call them help before taking off.
But no, that is not what happened. Not only that, but he managed to crush a child's dreams directly afterwards too. He's never been asked questions like that by the people he's helped before, but he knows he wouldn't have responded like that.
So, now he's thinking he may have to rethink his opinion of the Number One Hero. Maybe not for his work but at least for his character.
Dear notebook, I'm not quite sure what caused me to walk towards the explosion. Maybe it was because of all the hero fights I took notes of, so my mind could have instinctively gone towards the sound to find out more.
But something tells me it was because I recognized the explosion. After all, I'd been hearing them pretty much my whole life, I think I'd know the difference between Kachan's and a normal explosion.
"Damn, that's really saying something. I just tend to blame all explosions on him now." Sero commented.
"HEY! I'm not that carless!! I don't just go around constantly exploding things!" Bakugo yelled back at him.
Everyone shared a look, much to the blond's irritation.
There was a huge crowd when I got there too. Lots of heroes, fires, the whole shabam. But I came to a dead stop when I saw what was going on. The slime villain, the same one that attacked me, was now attacking my childhood best friend as he struggled to fight back.
"Wait! I remember hearing about this in the news!" Mirko gasped.
At first, I was horrified. All I remembered was the horrible slime forcing itself down my throat, cutting off my air supply and keeping me from moving. Then, I couldn't help but blame myself. All Might had caught that villain and was about to bring them to the police station when I distracted him, so the villain escaping was likely my fault.
"No way! A hero should be better than to let a villain escape while taking them in!" Iida called out.
"We're not gods you know, we make mistakes." Power loader grumbled.
Finally, all I could feel was anger. The scene was surrounded by heroes! Yet not a single one was doing a thing the stop the situation. In the end they all claimed the "their quirks weren't fit for the circumstances".
BULLSHIT! Backdraft could have used his quirk to put out the fires instead of helping Death Arms with crowed control (who, btw, clearly had it covered on his own). Then Kamui Woods should have swiped his arm thought the middle of the sludge and pulled the boy out, even if he was scared of Kachan's quirk. Avoiding a burn isn't worth someone's life!
But no, instead, they stood their doing nothing.
"That's a decent strategy actually. But I think it would pretty depend on if Kamui Woods was stronger than the slime villain." Midnight commented.
