Sinead's Point of View
Freddie and I were off. We ran out of the chapel and into the car off to where the after party would be held.
The venue was out in the country with a beautiful set up. My mum and Tony set up the whole thing and it was so amazing. Freddie and I were the last ones to arrive, everyone else was there enjoying themselves by the time we came.
"Congratulations Freddie and Sinead! May many wonderful memories come your way!" The Roscoes shouted. I laughed and headed to get changed out of my dress and into something more comfortable. After I got changed I headed to the rest of the party.
My mum came up to me and gave me a hug. "Sinead, you and Freddie are going far, there are many good things in store for you two, I'm sure, and when the time is right, I hope you two expand the family." I smiled.
It came time for the newlywed's to dance. Freddie and I took the dance floor and the music started to play. The song was "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perri. That was the first song Freddie and I have ever slow danced to. "Freddie, it's our song..our song. This is the song we first danced to together." I said looking into Freddies beautiful eyes. "I know darling. This is for us, isn't it?" He said holding me closer.
After the party was over, we headed back home. The wedding and the party were fantastic. It was a night that I never wanted to end. For once, I was able to escape all the pain of Katy's passing, and be happy for once. I still miss my baby girl, but I knew that I needed to begin to move on from her...but I never can, she'd always be a part of me and my memory. She's my favourite memory.
Freddie's Point of View
This night was perfect. I married my favourite person, the wedding was amazing. All that was left was the honey moon. I wanted to leave tonight, but I had no idea where to go.
"Sinead, pack your bag. The honey moon starts tonight." I said. "Fred, where we goin'?" She asked. "I'm not sure, Wales, France, Ireland?" I continued to say.
We packed up very quickly and got in the car. "Wales. Freddie, Wales." Sinead said. I took her hand, and we were heading to Wales. I didn't want to stay in the capital, Cardiff. We decided that a small village called Tonypandy. It was in the Rhonda Valleys and very remote. It was perfect for us.
We found a very nice bed and breakfast and stayed there. "What are we going to do out here? There basically nothing.. horses? I don't know" Sinead said. "See, that's the problem, we've been so used to cities and always having something going on, we just need to kick back and relax. We could go horse back riding, kayaking, something to do with nature. We'll figure it out." I said.
It got late and we headed to bed. Like most blokes on their honey moon, I wanted to you know.. but I knew that Sinead may not be ready just yet, especially since Katy died a week or so ago. I rolled over to face Sinead, when she said "Freddie, I want to... I want to do it..."
I was shocked. "Wait, like, have sex? Sinead are you sure? I don't want you doing anything that would make you upset or uncomfortable." I said.
She nodded and she started kissing me passionately. We started taking each others clothes off and it all began, this was our leisure time. And boy it was well deserved. Sinead and I were full steam ahead.
