Sinead's Point of View
I can't believe I went through with that. What was I thinking?
"Sinead, are you okay?" Freddie asked. I just looked up at him.
It hasn't been long since I lost Katy and already I was jumping into things. I know I need time, or at least I knew I needed it. But last night something just came over me and I couldn't stop myself. I couldn't let Freddie down, was the problem actually.
"Sinead you haven't said a word since last night. I told you if you weren't ready, we didn't have to do this, I would've waited. I promise and you know it's true." I looked at him and grabbed his hand.
"Freddie. I know you wanted to since we said "I do." I wasn't going to make you wait because I want to wait, Freddie I know you. It's fine, really... I just." I paused and looked at the bracelet. "You miss her." Freddie said. I nodded.
We stopped talking about it after then. We went out to explore Tonypandy. It's such a beautiful place, I almost didn't want to leave. We were climbing a mountain when a thought occurred to me. We got to the top and I just stopped. I was trying to find the words or what to do. I just froze.
"Freddie." I said. "Isn't this view amazing?! You could never get a view like this in Hollyoaks." He said stunned by the amazing view we had. "Freddie, listen!" I said. "Just hold a minuet, yeah? Sinead, we should stay here or come here more often." I grabbed his arm. "Freddie what if I'm pregnant..?'
Freddie became very silent. He sat down on the big rock. He didn't know what to do, and neither did I. "I could, I could, I could give it up, or you know..." He looked at me and held out his hand. I grabbed his hand and sat next to him.
"You know, I love you very much. And in the case that you are you know, pregnant, we'll figure something out Sinead."
"Yeah, but what if I'm not ready? Freddie its only been nearly a week since Katy.. I couldn't abort it... but I also don't know. Freddie, it's too soon."
We just looked at each other after that. There really were no words to be spoken or had. Once we got down from the mountain we hit the local shops. They had Top Shop, and so many other little retail shops. I stepped out for a minuet to call my mum. She'd know what to do in a time like this.
"Mum, I need to talk to ya."
"What is it babe?"
"Freddie and I you know... and now I'm worried."
"Sinead....come home and we'll talk."
She hung up after that. "You okay babe?" Freddie asked.
I nodded. Freddie's phone rang.
It was Joe. Joe rarely ever called Freddie. "Better answer it." I said walking away to go look in Top Shop
Freddie caught up and grabbed my waist.
"What your brother want?" I asked.
He looked at me and I knew something was up.
