Freddie's Point of View
The next morning I went out before anyone was awake. I wanted to get Sinead something special, she was my world and I wasn't about to let anything come between us.
I went to the jewellery store and looked for a necklace and bracelet. "Excuse me sir, do you need help?" The jeweler asked. I nodded my head. "My wife and I are getting remarried, and I already got the ring, now I'm just looking for something special." I said.
"Well, what is she like?" He asked. "She's nothing like you've ever seen before. But, we lost our little girl 5 days ago. It almost killed Sinead. I want to get her a diamond necklace and a a bracelet that has an infinity sign that has 'Katy' engraved into it?" I said.
The jeweler nodded and went over it all with me, He said he could have the bracelet done before 1 o'clock today, I walked out the door with the necklace and headed back to Sinead and the family. I walked in our hotel room and Sinead was still sound asleep but Esther and Kim along side with Diane seemed to let themselves in.
"What are you all doing here?" I asked. "Well, it;s not like you guys are going to plan a wedding all by yourselves! We're helping." Kim said.
"Sineads not even awake...how is that helping?" I asked. They looked at each other and woke up Sinead.
Sinead got out of bed and sat down and started flipping through the many dress magazines that Diane brought. "Good morning beautiful" I said while kissing her cheek.
She shrugged and kissed back quickly. "You okay love?" Diane asked. She nodded. Diane and I looked at each other. "Sinead, are you sure? What's going on?" I asked. Esther and Kim snuck out of the room,
"I'm fine, alright? Just leave me be for a moment." She said. She got up from the couch and headed to the little kitchen we had in the room to make a coffee. Whilst her back was turned I showed Diane the necklace and told her about the bracelet.
"Freddie, she'll love it. Both of them" Diane whispered to me. "You don't think it's too soon about the bracelet do you?" I asked getting a little concerned. Diane shook her head and smiled.
Sinead walked to us and said "Okay, now that I have my coffee, you may now talk to me. The pair of you should know that I'm not a morning person." then smiled.
"Get dressed. Diane, tell everyone to get dressed, we're going out for breakfast and then having a family day." I said.
Diane headed out the door and Sinead went to get dressed.While Sinead was getting dressed I texted Diane to have everyone meet in the lobby.
Sinead got dressed then walked into the bathroom, I assumed she was doing her makeup. She usually only took 10-15 minuets doing her make up, she was in there for about 20 minuets.
"Sinead,everything okay?" I asked. I could hear her crying. I walked in and she was holding a picture of me holding Katy. "It hurts so much Freddie" She said while crying.
" I know love. I know. But hey, hey, it's okay. Katy wouldn't want to see her mummy cry all the time. She'd want you to be happy. Give it time." I said.
I grabbed her hand and we headed to the lobby. We we're waiting on my family. Diane, Tony, the twins, Finn and Esther were all down already.
"You Roscoe's are always late." Finn said jokingly. I laughed "Yeah, tell me about it" I said.
The Roscoe clan finally came down and we headed out. We decided to have breakfast at Denny's. While we were waiting for our food, I pulled out the necklace.
"Freddie, it's beautiful. Thank you so much!" Sinead said kissing me. We ate our food and headed out on our next little mission.
"Wait here, I'll be right back." I said while running to the jewelry store.
"That boy loves you. Keep him around, he really does care. He'll make a great dad one day." Esther said.
I put the box in my pocket and headed back to my family. "So, where do thousands of kids, hell, adults dream of going eventually?" I asked.
Everyone looked at each other and Kim said "Disneyland?!?!" I nodded and everyone started to get excited.
We entered the park and when we were leaving the "Buzz Light Year Experience" I pulled Sinead close to me and said "She wasn't here long, but her memory will be for infinity and beyond." Whilst putting the bracelet on.
She started to cry and she hugged me.
"Oh Freddie. I can't believe this. First the propsal, then the necklace, the trip here, the bracelet?! Fred, you amaze me. I can't imagine my life with anyone but you. You were an amazing dad to Katy, and I know that you'll be an amazing one when we have a kid. But, I don't want to wait. I want to get married now. Let's fly back to Hollyoaks tonight and get married on Wednesday. Please Freddie, I can't wait." She said..
We all rushed back to the hotel and packed our things and dashed to the airport.
My life was finally becoming normal, I found my soul mate, my entire world.
Each and everyone of us was finally finding our place.
I found love.
Sinead found peace and acceptance.
Diane found room in her heart to accept me.
Kim found Esther.
Esther found love.
Lindsey and Joe found the love they shared again.
Tony found his love and family.
We all found our ways.
We boarded the plane and I sat with Sinead.
"I love you Freddie. And I mean that."
"I love you too. Things this time around will be different for us. I promise"
