AT THE INN (NIGHT TIME)
THIRD PERSON POV
A young girl looked at the spirit while he was explaining everything. When she was born the door of the Sage's Ruins glowed signifying that the sage candidate the sage chose has been born. In order to confirm this when she were only a few months old her parents brought her to ruins and let her touch the door to which as expected the door glowed but it didn't opened since she was not old enough to go through. Caelus informed her that once she returns to noble society she has to start trends to which the young girl sighed, it seems she has a lot of work to do.
She was informed that she really liked reading when she was a kid and was able to finish her noble lesson at the age of six. Even as a five year old (y/n) was able to read complicated books and she even helps her older brother and Reinhard with their studies, much to the two male's chargin. The two knights, Felix Argyle and Julius Juukulius are here childhood friends and as she suspected Felix is a male despite his feminine looks. Her family were especially kind and doting towards her, and the male members of her family we're very protective of her and tend to lead her away from boys especially Reinhard. The information that shocked (y/n) the most is that Reinhard Van Astrea is her fiancee.
"How did Reinhard and I became engaged and why??!!", the young girl raised her voice. The spirit tilted his head, "Well the two of you were kids back then and your parents said it as a joke but the two of you took it seriously. Young Reinhard eagerly agreed and you said that it wasn't a bad idea since the two of you are friends so it's better than getting engaged to a complete stranger and Reinhard promised to cherish and protect you and that you'll be his only partner."
"The Royal Family also agreed with the engagement since the Ainsworth are very loyal to them and having their daughter get engaged to the Sword Saint reduces the risk of him going against royal orders and being a danger to the Royal Family and Lugnica.", added the spirit while looking at the young girl. (Y/n) looked flustered at the idea of being engaged since she had never thought about getting married and only focused on her family, friends and hobbies.
"Look on the bright side, you have a very loyal fiancee. A lot of noble woman tried to convince Reinhard to break your engagement so that he can marry them but he refused and said that you're his everything and that he doesn't need anyone else to be his other half.", the spirit tried to comfort the young girl, who looked like she was about to pass out from embarrassment.
"No wonder he looked ecstatic when he saw me. Now how am I going to face him. Ahhh... It's a good thing I took drama class. I did become the female lead of some romance stories so acting isn't a problem as long as I remain serious about it.",the young girl pondered. The door opened showing Felix who greeted her with a smile and entered the room
"(Y/n)-kyun it's time for dinner, everything is waiting for you.",the young knight said with glee. The young girl nodded and got out of bed and went to the dining hall with Felix. "Thank you for escorting me Sir Felix.", the young girl said when they reached their destination. "(Y/n)-kyun just call me Ferris, we're friends after all.", the young knight replied with a smile. The young girl nodded and returned the smile.
Once they reach there she was greeted by the knights and Reinhard escorted her to the seat besides him and helped her get seated. (Y/n) thanked the red haired knight while avoiding his gaze. The young knight chuckled and went back to his seat besides the girl. Once all of them are seated they began to eat their dinner. The meal went smoothly without a single soul talking since some were focused on their food while the others were pondering about something.
After their meal Felix suggested to have tea to which young girl and the two other knights agreed. The young girl asked Felix if she could bring out some confectioneries to which the brown haired knight nodded and had a bright smile on his face. Reinhard insisted on helping her carry the confectioneries so the two of them went to the young girl's room where her luggage is located. She found the box and brought out some cakes and t
cookies.
