Natasha's POV:

After Tony and his 'new' assistant head out of the kitchen going God knows where maybe doing some nerd stuff I turned to Wanda "so what's the deal with the new girl,is she a new recruit? How long will she be here for? Will she be staying here?" I asked continuously making Wanda drop her attention from doing the dishes "Woah easy there,why do you seem all worked up about her?" She picked up a glass putting in the dishwasher before continuing "and her name is Y/n, all we know is she's Tony's assistant that's all" with a shrug of her shoulders Wanda walked to me and took my plate to clean.

I leaned into my chair putting my palm on my chin thinking what Wanda said

Since I was deep in thought I didn't realize Sam entered the room again all sweaty and out of breath he went to the fridge and took out a bottle of water and situated himself beside me to where
Wanda was sitting earlier

"What's on your mind Nat?" Sam nudged me while taking a big chug from his bottle I looked at him with disgust and wiped my arm cause his sweat was on me,"The new girl...she seems suspicious" Sam looked at me unamused.

shaking his head,"Everyone is suspicious to you" he stood up preparing to leave the room
Well that's true, I mean why won't I be suspicious of this girl, she's new and we barely know anything about her but Tony seems to trust her already which is very unlikely for him to do "We know nothing about this person-" I tried to explain but Wanda cut me off "Nat, her name is Y/n " she reminds me which caused an eye roll from me "yeah whatever" I waved her off to continue my explanation which Sam picked an interest on since he's making his way back to where he sat moments ago "yeah and your point being?" He urged me to continue "as I was saying, we know nothing about her but Tony seems to trust her already,all we know is her name and that she's Tony's assistant,we don't even know her last name,I don't know about you guys but there's something going on here and I will find that out"before any of them could speak I started again"Wanda why don't you try and get into her head,I mean, it's the easiest way for us to know if she can be trusted right?" Wanda thought about what I said,I know she won't agree with this but it's worth a shot and it's the only solution I could think of right now "You're right Nat,but I won't do it,not without her consent,why don't you just go ask her" I just looked at her dead in the eye and she already knows I wouldn't.

  I sprung out of my sit startling both Sam and Wanda "what the hell Romanoff" they both said in unison well that's new it's the first time I heard Wanda curse and let alone call me by my last name,I didn't paid them any more attention and just went to my room to get changed there's only one place I could go to get answers.

I drove to S.H.I.E.L.D.  looking for Fury, if anyone knows anything about this Y/n girl then it will be him ofcourse Tony as well but I know he won't tell me anything I want to know judging by how he spoke up for her and how careful he chose his words earlier this morning.

I kept walking around til I finally reached my destination,I knocked on Fury's door and when I heard him say "come in" I opened the door only to be met by a confused Nick "what do I owe this pleasure of you pestering me early in the morning agent?" rolling my eyes I took a seat in front of him and without out wasting anymore time "there's a new recruit, well not technically but she's Tony's assistant and we barely know anything about her,--"before I even finish Maria came in clearly not expecting me to be there "Oh hi Nat, didn't knew you'd be visiting,is everything alright?" She asked while placing some documents on Fury's table "yeah I'm fine,I was just asking Nick about this new girl who magically appeared at the compound" she just nods her head and took a sit on the couch on the other side of the office "so you were saying?" Fury  said taking me back to our last conversation "right,so, Y/n,who is she? Why is she here? Where did she came from? How did you find her? Why does Tony seems to trust her already? And What's so special about her to be Tony's assistant, ain't Bruce doing enough work for him?" I stopped asking as I was out of breath but hell I still have a lot of questions while Fury on the other hand is just looking at me unamused "Are you done talking?" He replied,still trying to catch my breath"yeah...yeah I guess so, are you ready to answer me?" I said mocking his tone in which he just scoffed as a reply

Fury leaned over to get a proper look at me before saying " First I am also in the dark as you are I know nothing about this girl or how Tony found her,secondly I already tried to look her up but there's nothing it's as if she doesn't exist at all,no family,no background nothing,and lastly,why so curious Romanoff? You don't usually get all this worked up just because we hired or recruited someone" surprised by his answer I just shook my head and got up pacing around the room,this can't be how can she not have a background,and why the hell am I so bothered by her, knowing there's nothing more I can squeeze out of Fury I bid my goodbyes to them both and went back to the compound,if they won't give me answers then I'll find them out myself.

I've been working for hours on end and still nothing,no family,no background, no track records absolutely nothing and it's frustrating me.

You might be thinking why didn't I just go to Tony and ask,well I actually did but he just waved me off saying that I shouldn't be bothered that Y/n is a good guy,well he's right I mean looking at Y/n,she looks like she'll arrange a funeral if she accidentally killed a bug,but looks can be deceiving right?

I didn't notice that it's already 7pm til F.R.I.D.A.Y announced that dinner is ready,I tidied up my room and went down stairs where everybody is already gathered but I noticed that little Ms.assistant wasn't there,maybe she's still in the lab or went home, Jesus Christ this girl just got here and she's already messing with my head and I am not liking any second of it.

When everyone is done eating they all went to their respective rooms to rest or do whatever the hell they need to which left me and Wanda to clean up,we didn't really talk and we just cleaned in silence which I'm grateful for,after we put the dishes in the cupboard I bid Wanda my goodnight and went back to my room while she made her way to the living room probably going to watch some sitcom.

I made it to my floor and guess who I saw walking around,little Ms. Assistant,she didn't notice me so I sneaked up behind her and put one hand on her shoulder "what are you doing roaming around little mouse?" She took my hand and twisted it on my back and slammed me on the wall,ok shit that hurts, that'll probably bruise tomorrow "Oh my God, I'm so sorry,I didn't noticed you were there and you really scared me" she rambles on and on but here I am still pinned on the fucking wall "will you just shut up and let me go?" My tone came out harsh than I intended to but she finally let go so I just walked past her and slammed my door hearing her "IM SO SORRY MS.ROMANOFF, GOODNIGHT!"  Mothertrucker had the audacity to bid me goodnight when she literally just shoved me into a wall.

Oh and did I mention our little encounter this morning when she was running like a mad woman thru the halls and ran into me like a bull and how she acted on the dining hall as if she didn't know what happened.

She's been here for only a day but God I already wanna get rid of her,ok that's kinda mean but I'm pissed off alright?!

I didn't bother changing my clothes and just went under the covers to sleep with my mind still plagued by her.
