"Kami go straight to Shoko. Can you do it yourself?" Nanami asked as Shi only nodded waving him and Itadori off.

"Yeah I can handle myself you guys should go before they see Itadori here talking to me" Shi reassured as the two took off not forgetting to look at her again for the last time.

She can totally not handle herself.

She can't even stand properly without breaking her right leg even more than it was before. But what can she do?

She limped herself towards the entrance off the school which terribly was staircases. Shi could only huff out a sigh as she limped and groaned as she tried to make her way up.

"Are you trying to die?" A certain raven haired boy spoke up as he walked down the stairs ready to help Shi.

"Maybe just kidding Im planning to die but not now" Shi said as he snaked his hand on her waist to support her.

"Thank you Fushiguro" Shi said gently as he continued to help her up the stairs.

"... anything for you" He murmured making sure she didn't here a thing he said. Luckily for him she was too busy with the torture her broken leg gave her.

"Where are you going anyways?"

"To visit the doctor I caught myself a broke leg"

"I thought you can heal yourself"

"well technically yes but this is a bone I broke so it will take a couple of days to become better" As Shi explained they already arrived at the doctor's office.

"Shi? What happened?" Ieiri asked the teenager as she helped Fushiguro to sit her down.

"I broke my leg in training so yeah" Shi poorly explained but none the less still helped her out.

Through out the xrays and the healing that Ieiri did Fushiguro stayed by her side with the excuse of "just in case".

"Fushiguro can you help Shi to her dorm? You guys are neighbors anyways right?" Ieiri asked him

"I was planning to anyways" The two then said their goodbyes and thank you to Ieiri.

"Im sick of these I should just drop out" Shi cut the silence as they walked side by side

"nope I am not and never letting you drop out" Fushiguro abruptly stopped

"Too much hard work though I swear to god"

"Your so lazy" He tried his best to hide his giggle but to no extent Shi heard the small sneaker coming from him.

"did I just make you giggle?!" Shi partially shouted putting her hands on her face in disbelief.

"no... you didn't see nor hear anything" he said going back to his stoic face as he continued walking leaving Shi behind.

"Eh? Wait for me" She exclaimed as she ran to his side as they made their way towards her dorm.

"Hey Fushiguro" Shi called out as he hummed as a form of an answer.

"What do you think of a me being a ghoul?"

For a moment everything went silent.

Nothing heard but their own footsteps and the gentle breeze of the night.

"Its unique. Really uniquely beautiful" He said as he continued walking not realizing Shi has halted her steps.

"beautiful?" Her question made Fushiguro halt his walk and turned around to face her.

"mhm just stop being so reckless. No one wants to lose you yet" He said as he rolled his eyes recalling the time he thought she was going to be dying. Shi smiled at him as silence engulfed them both.

"Aren't you going inside yet?" Fushiguro asked pointing at the door beside her.

"Oh! Right thank you" Shi said smiling brightly at him trying to cover up her embarrassment. Shi quickly got inside of her dorm closing the door behind her almost immediately.

'Shi stay safe ok?' recalling the last words of the boy she watched dying Shi could only sigh deeply but forced a smile.

"I will Junpei. Well I'll try at least" She mumbled before throwing herself on her bed almost immediately sleeping the moment she touched the foam.

In the other hand Fushiguro sat down on his own bed.

"She never smiled like that before" He mumbled.He couldn't seem to get Shi out of his mind. But eventually gave up and lay his self down on his bed.

Closing his eyes in attempt to sleep but this attempt clearly failed.

He doesn't know what to do her smile, her voice, her hair, everything about her is driving him crazy.

What is it bugging him? He doesn't know himself.

Sure being a with a ghoul would be terrifying but something about her makes him think that ghouls aren't bad as people make them look. Maybe they are just trying to live just like humans. Shi showed him a new perspective in ghouls.

He knew he could trust her from the day they watched her take down three curses at a time.

He knew she wouldn't eat them.

Because he knew that she has limits.

He knew that she grew soft.

And she proves this whenever he sees her interacting with other people. He witnessed her getting more comfortable and you can say friendlier.

"I must be out of my mind. Why was I watching her in the first place and why am I thinking about her" Irritated he closed his eyes forcefully.

"maybe Im just tired" He thought as he finds a comfortable place to sleep to.

"holy shit I swear I need to sleep for training" after a couple of hours twisting and turning he unfortunately cannot sleep. With Shi still running through his mind.
