"Thank you for today Itsukki sensei!" The three students bowed as they realized that they are one step further in graduating.

"Now now don't be all too sentimental about this" Itsukki laughed at his students, "We'll still see each other you know. You get to graduate that means we are going work together now" he smiled as the students look back at him.

"Still we will miss our adorable sensei" student Gojo said as he put his arm around the teacher.

"Stop that Satoru but he is right we might still see each other but being colleagues gives a whole different meaning to it" Shoko sighed as he dragged Gojo away from the older.

"Well no worries I'll let you call me sensei even if you all graduate..." Smiling warmly Gojo and Shoko gently hugged him as a form of thank you and goodbye.

Meanwhile the longhaired lad only looked down.

Overthinking.

Although his trance was cut off by Gojo slapping his back to force him join the embrace.

Seeing the strange behavior of one of his students he looked back at him with concern in his eyes.

After the embrace the three students waved goodbye as they walked back to their dorms.

Looking intently at one of his students he realized something.

That isn't the way to Geto's dorm.

His dorm is the other way.

With this Itsukki followed him reluctantly, feeling a bit protective over his students it concerns him how Geto was acting so strange a round him and his classmates.

Following him to an unfamiliar and hidden place inside Jujutsu Tech, Itsukki hid behind the walls and suppressed his over flowing curiosity.

"You came... does that mean you accept?" a higher up asked the teenager.

"Why does it need to be the child of my teacher that basically raised me?" Itsukki listened intently already knowing who he was talking about.

"You know why... if that infant survive our ambush and you don't get to kill it. The higher ups, us, will have to step down. That infant is a big threat to us higher ups" the person looked down on the teenager.

"my life or the infants right?" Geto asked making the person smirk and hum in response.

Itsukki kept on listening, terrified on what will his student choose his silently hoped he won't accept it or if he did he hoped he is doing for a reason.

"... fine. In one condition"

"say you prize"

"I'll get to be one of the higher ups if I do accomplish this"

Itsukki's heart sank as he heard his own student would say something so... absurd.

Not being able to handle the overwhelming betrayal and anger he has. He walked a away from the place, silently crying.

As he hurriedly drove back to his wife in panic he thought of what will happen to his daughter. Will she perhaps survive? Die? Be left alone? He has no idea but for now all he thought of was coming home, spending as much time as he can with his family.

While it is still complete.

Days pass Itsukki became more and more paranoid. Every time he left there home leaving his pregnant wife alone he would think of the worst case scenario that might happen when he isn't with them.

This time he stayed at home. He couldn't bare the thought of loosing two of the most important people in his life.

"Honey? What's wrong you've been bothered ever since the children graduated. Tell me what's bothering you" Fumiko, his wife, asked with a concerned expression.

"...W-we have to be ready at anytime. The higher ups the-they are going to try kill our daughter. They want to kill all of us..."

"You know 'Suki we can't really assume what's going to happen. But please promise me that if one of us lives we take care of out daughter okay?" She smiled so angelically that its enough to make Itsukki's worries fade away even just for a second.

'I always ask why I married a ghoul... i guess realizations do sometimes come in late. I love this girl with all of my heart. I will risk everything to save her and our daughter...' His thoughts came rushing down as he embraced his wife whole heartedly.

"I love you... I will protect you and little Fumiko here" He spoke as he kissed Fumiko's belly making her laugh.

"Of course you would... You would be the best father out there" It was a wholesome sight to see.

But for Itsukki.

It was a heartbreaking memory.

Looking at the burning building he heard his wife's cries and shouts as the flames seep through her skin.

He held the infant close to him trying to call his daughter down. It was as if she knew what her mother was going through.

On a glass window he saw his wife.

Half her face burning.

He covered his mouth as the never ending tears run down his face.

"I love you" his Fumiko mouthed before collapsing as the fire indulged the whole building. Itsukki's legs refused to stand making him collapse on his knees as he cried, sobbed, and shouted in despair.

If only he wasn't as strong as everybody says.

He hated himself.

He really did thought he would be able to say the both of them. but no the world just doesn't want the three of them to live in peace.

How pathetic.

The strongest sorcerer failed saving his own family.

He saved other families before but couldn't he save his own?

It's because he was afraid.

He knew how powerful he was to the point that he grew afraid of himself and afraid of hurting his family.

He knew damn well that if he did use his skills earlier it only wouldn't kill the people ambushing them.

He will also have to kill his family.
