3. Darkest Times

Its been a couple of days since the party and since you last saw Q. You stayed off school for a couple of days to recover and to gather your thoughts. But today is your first day back after everything.

You've woke up feeling nervous, your stomach is cramping and your head hurts. You go downstairs to get some food, Ethan, Sal, Joe, Murr and Q are all sitting around the table.

You sit down next to Q while everyone talks to each other. Q turns to you slightly so you can talk without it being the centre of attention

'Are you sure you're okay?' He asks

'I'm fine, thanks for not telling anyone I appreciate it'

'Its fine don't worry, no one will know' He says while smiling at you. You smile back and finish your breakfast.

You all leave at the same time to head to school. You walk slightly behind the guys so you're not seen with them. As you get closer to school your chest starts to feel tight. The anxiety of going somewhere that Ash still is fills your body with fear. Your stomach starts to turn and your heart beats rapidly. You turn around and head back to the house.

Q is walking slightly in front of you. He looks over his shoulder to see if you are okay, he double takes to see you turning around and walking back to the house.

'Oh, uh Ethan sorry I gotta head back to your house, I left my book there' Q says to your brother

'Alright that's fine, mum should still be home to let you in, if not you know where the spare key is' Ethan replies.

Q turns back to try and catch up with you. As you place the key in the door to open it you hear someone running up to the house. You turn around to see Q standing breathless behind you.

'What are you doing?' You ask frowning at him

'I saw you turn back to come home, what's wrong?'

You roll your eyes at him and open the door to let the two of you in. You throw your bag on the floor and sit on the sofa taking some deep breaths

'What's wrong y/n?' He asks

'I'm just so nervous about going back, we all know what he was planning on doing if you didn't get there, i'm stupid for trusting him, and now I will see him at school, I can't handle that Q'

Q sits next to you placing an arm around you. He pulls you in for a hug giving you some comfort.

'I just can't go to school'

'You can, you have to show him he hasn't affected you' He replies

'But he has Q, he has affected me, I had days off because I couldn't stop crying over it'

Your eyes start to tear up as you look at Q, he is the only person you can trust right now after everything that has happened, he's the only person you can go to about it, the only person that knows.

He pulls you into him rubbing your arm up and down. You get these weird butterflies in your stomach, you've never been like this around Q, you sit up from his shoulder and wipe your eyes.

'You can't keep hiding from it, you'll be fine, you have us there, if anything happens just find us'
